Me & Shaynnen

Mummy & meimei have discharged from hospital since Monday and both of them are resting at home. Mummy says she will be home for the next 10 weeks....Yipee!! Well, Daddy has also applied leave to stay at home for the next few days. I am the happiest person with Daddy & Mummy at home to accompany me....

As for meimei, hmmm.....I am still trying to get use to her. She's so small, still dun noe how to play with me....everytime I ask her to "Up...Up", she just continue lying down. No fun! Well, meimei has been drinking lotsa milk from Mummy. Hope she grows up faster.

Happy Birthday to me.....

This morning, I woke up feeling really great cos its my BIRTHDAY. Daddy & Mummy have planned a party for me at Explorerkid at Downtown East from 1-5pm. But hor, when I woke up, Daddy & Mummy are not home. Tutti jiejie says they went to hospital for checkup....and will be back in time to bring me to the party. Well, I was a good gal. I ate my bfast, took my bath n changed to my new clothes and waited for Daddy & Mummy.

At 12.30pm, Daddy & Mummy are finally home but Mummy dun look well. She says she will giving birth to meimei today. Same birthday as me!! But Mummy says she hope to cut the bday cake with me before going to the hospital. At 1pm, we reached Explorerkid. Juz nice, the birthday cake has also arrived but my guests have not. Mummy decided not to wait liao. Uncle Teckkuan helped us to take a group photo with my birthday cake and Daddy & Mummy headed for the hospital. For me, I also blur blur..... Yiyi, Erna & Tutti jiejie brought me to play and I forget about Daddy & Mummy's absence.

At about 1.30pm, most of my guests arrived. There are Athena, Irvin, Kieran, Kayden, Gabriel, Edward, Justin, Johann, Esther, Jean, Cindy, Yingxin, Faye, Cousins Xavia, Megan, Jared and Dylan together with their Daddies and Mummies.

At about 2pm, a group of Macdonald jiejies and korkors came and distribute food to us and Erna & Tutti jiejie took turns to feed me. Halfway thru the meal (actually I was almost done), we were told to gather and play games......"Huh". Anyway, the korkor was saying that we play Musical Chairs. I dont know what he was saying but there were a lot of chairs around. I just remain seated throughout the music and once the music stopped, I stand up and applauded....hahaha. Guess what, that won me a prize! Yipee.....next we have some dance movements and I especially enjoy this cos I can show everyone how I shake my butt.....and once again, I won a prize!!.

After the 2 games, everyone gathered around the small table and my Barney birthday cake was brought out.....its my 2nd year old Birthday Cake from ecreative. Everyone sing me my Birthday Song and I blew the candles myself. Well, Daddy & Mummy are not around so Yiyi helped me in cutting the cake. Everyone enjoyed the cake....me too, yummy!

Then its off to the ball pond and structure to play....my favourite! Daddy has been bringing me to ExplorerKid a few times before my party, so I was pretty good at all the stuff, but still need adult guidance lah. So Erna and Tutti jiejie took turns to bring me around. I had so much fun.....

At 4.30pm, most of my guests have left, so we packed up and go too......I was really tired out liao, so I slept along the way home. Gonggong says after I wake up, we can head to the hospital to visit Mummy and meimei. So exciting.....

My Sister - Shaynnen Zi Xuan

I am pleased to introduce to you......my meimei. She's born on the same birthdate as me....28th Oct, 2 years apart. She's weighed a good 2.77kg (heavier than me) and is 48cm (longer than me). So, do you tik she looked like me when I was that young? Mummy says she looked more like Daddy.

Well, I was not really that interested in touching her when Daddy introduced her to me.....but hor, meimei actually got me a present. Its a DVD player! Hmm, how come she noes my old one spoil liao. Anyway, after I unwrapped the gift, I was more willing to touch her but she being so small....please dun expect me to be near her so soon.

At about 11pm, we left the hospital and Daddy brought me, Tutti jiejie and Gonggong back home....

Daddy & Mummy decided to let Tutti and Erna jiejie off today since its their New Year Day. At 9.30am, both of them left the house and promised to be home by 8pm. Since its a holiday, Daddy, Mummy & I decided to stay in bed till 11plus. At 12plus, Yiyi is going out with Uncle Mark so Ah Gong came up to our place. We dilly-dally till about 1pm before deciding to head to Compass Point to grab some food and to bring Ah Gong for his badly-needed haircut.

Mummy also wanted to visit Vivocity cos she says she wl be confined at home for a month pretty soon and will like to see how does Vivocity look like. Mummy was worried that the parking @ VivoCity will be chiat lat, so we give our car a break today and took the MRT instead. I always enjoy public transport....

After 30 mins of MRT ride, we reached Harbourfront and wow....the crowd actually starts from the MRT platform. But we managed to move our way out and towards the shopping area. The whole shopping mall is really huge and I had so much fun running around. There is even a play area but it was simply too crowded, so I only played a short while before heading out of the mall to check out the exterior. It actually overlooked Sentosa and Daddy commented that VivoCity looks like a cruise ship......I tik so too.

After walking for about an hour, Mummy bua tahan liao, so while she & Ah Gong find a place to rest. Daddy & me checked out the huge hypermart @ Giant. But without Tutti or Erna jiejie to help, it was impossible for Daddy to get any stuff, so we decided to head home. We headed back to Compass Point @ Cold Storage to get the ingredients for tonite's dinner. Daddy cooking steak with Corn and Asparagus soup....yummy!

I enjoy Kiddy ride.......

We met Uncle Ben, Aunty Kelly, Gabe and Ed for lunch at Punggol Plaza....look, Gabe even give me a "ride" home. He's a real cool driver. After lunch, all of us headed back to my place cos Uncle Ben wanted to show Daddy & Mummy the summary of their insurance policies as well as to pass me my birthday gift too.....

While the adults do their talking, Gabe & I had fun running around and we even found a new game....running through the timber wood and make sure none of us get stuck....hahahaha.

Gabe & his daddy/Mummy stayed until 5+ before leaving for home. Mummy then tried to get me to take my nap too....but I refused. So we decided to head out. We went to Metro Sale @ Expo cos Daddy needs to get a frying pan. All this while, we have been using Yiyi's one when we need to cook......Then, we headed to Changi Village for dinner before heading home.

Shopping...

This morning, I woke up late as usual and for brunch, we headed to Lor Ah Soo market with Daddy, Mummy, Tutti, Erna jiejie and Ah Gong. Then we dropped Erna jiejie and Ah Gong at Grandaunty Cath's house cos Ah Gong got mahjong session. Next stop, we headed to Liang Court @ Audio House cos Daddy/Mummy needs to get a gift. Hmmm, I heard that the gift is actually for me, wonder what they got for me.....

Then while Mummy rested at McCafe, I took the opportunity to ride on a few kiddy ride.

Next stop is The Concourse.....my birthday celebration is a week away so Daddy & Mummy went there to get my party flavours. Hope my friends will like the items inside the party pack.

Then is home sweet home for my afternoon....hmm, should be evening nap.

Happy Birthday, Daddy....

Daddy is a year older today....but to me, he looks the same leh. Still as "yandao" (hehehe). Mummy is on night shift today, but she managed to leave her office early today and we went to Swensen @ Compass Point for dinner and free ice-cream @ Firehouse.

After the late dinner, we headed home and went to Yiyi's house to cut Daddy's birthday cake. Its a yam flavour cake from Angie The Choice. Wishing Daddy good health and good fortune always. I love you, Daddy!

Hair-Cutting Session

Daddy & Mummy felt that my hair is too long liao, so decided to bring me for a haircut at Compass Point. There's a new shop called Okinawa at the 1st floor, near the bus-interchange. Mummy decided to try out this shop since they do not pressure in cutting one's hair within 10mins. Knowing me....I sure dun co-operate. But today, I was pleasantly more okay...maybe cos Daddy had his haircut before me. I did not fuss or cry....just the usual fidget once a while.

But I tell you hor, halfway during Daddy's haircut, I poo and Mummy didnt bring a fresh diaper for me, so what happened. I was diaperless during my haircut and on the way home. It was a good 20mins and Mummy felt that I may be able to start potty-train liao....maybe after meimei is out.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Ben...

We had a date with Uncle Ben, Aunty Kelly, Gabe and Ed today cos Daddy has been wanting to eat this Al La Carte Buffet at The Grassroots Club @ Yio Chu Kang for $18++ per head. Since it is Uncle Ben's birthday today, Daddy decided to chio them together. More people, more fun mah.

Halfway thru the makan, I got bored and decided to chio Gabe to the arcade to play games. Look how much fun we had......playing Daytona, shooting guns....got put money, dun play play...

After makan, is cake-cutting session......Daddy & Mummy bought a Oreo Delight Cake from Angie The Choice and it was really yummy. I have a whole slice all to myself. Wish Uncle Ben good health and earn lotsa $$$...

After lunch, all of us headed to Ang Mo Kio Central cos we needed to get some toiletries. While we were heading to the car, Gabe held my hands, hug and kiss me too.....*shy*shy*. Then it home sweet home for our beauty nap.

Pizza Making Session

Daddy is in the mood in cooking Lasagne, so decided to invite a few of my friends over for pizza making as well. Mummy wanted it to be a small affair, so invited Jean, Gabriel and Esther only. Tutti jiejie and Daddy were busy in the kitchen preparing the food in the morning while Mummy & I stayed in the room to watch Barney. At 12plus, everyone arrived and we got round to make our own individual pan- size pizza....

For a start, I have the baby tomatoes in my mouth instead of the pizza base....hahaha. Then Daddy helped me in the making. Esther also got the help of her Daddy & Mummy too. Jean was having fun doing it alone while Aunty Jen snap pictures.....

Where is Gabriel? He ran to the living room to play with the toys. When Mummy asked him who is preparing the pizza for him....he says "Wyn Wyn". Hahaha

Anyway, all of us had fun with the ham, cheese, tomatoes and button mushrooms. When our pizza are completed, Daddy & Tutti jiejie got busy again in the kitchen baking our pizzas. At the same time, Daddy's lasagne was also ready (Paiseh, Mummy 4get to take pix) and he went around serving to everyone. It was Daddy's 1st attempt....successful or not?? Well, everyone asked for 2nd servings....so you say leh?

After the yummy pizza and lasagne lunch & lychee freeze (blended by Daddy), we stayed in the living room to play with toys while Tutti jiejie cleared up the mess in the dining hall. At about 1+, Uncle Patrick came to fetch Aunty Jen & Jean while the rest of us adjourned to my room so Tutti jiejie can clean up the whole house. And guess what were we doing, looking so glued at one direction.......give up!! We are watching Barney VCD.

It sure was fun having my friends over......looking forward to the next food-making session. Daddy says the next time, he will like to cook his all-time best ~ seafood pasta...and Mummy says maybe we can go about baking chocolate cookies ....hmm, but it may have to be Xmas liao. *Advanced booking....starts now* :)

Our old camera - Olympuz AZ-1 is going bogus....so Mummy decided to get a new one since meimei is popping soon. Non-Hazy Sunday....

The wind direction changed and this morning, we woke up to a nice weather. Mummy says we are meeting up with Aunty Kelly & family for breakfast at Cafe Cartel @ Tampines Mall, so at 9am, I was told to get up liao. Tutti jiejie bathed me and we were out of the house by 9.50am. We reached to Tampines Mall at 10.20am and Daddy found a parking lot soon enough but Daddy was shocked when he got out of the car and looked at how close he was to getting his car banged at a stationery lorry...

Gabe & his parents arrived not long later and we got ourselves a table outside. Uncle Ben also brought along Gabriel's birthday cake. Its a Barney birthday cake. After breakfast, we got together around Gabriel and sang him a birthday song and I had a slice of his cake. Yummy!!

Then, we headed to ExplorerKid at Downtown East. Yipee! This is my 2nd time here and I am beginning to love coming here a lot. Well, today is the peak period so only 1 adult to 1 kid. Daddy joined me & Uncle Ben accompanied Gabriel while Mummy, Aunty Kelly, Tutti jiejie and Edward didi stayed outside. My peak period voucher entitled us to an hour of free play. But after an hour, I still refused to go.....and Daddy actually got Mummy to "bluff" me out. Nevermind, Daddy says he will bring me here again this week during the non-peak days.

We headed to our cars, passed Gabriel his birthday present (hope he likes it) and headed to Yew Tee cos Tutti jiejie needs to pass some stuff to her friend who is going back to her hometown for Hari Raya. Along the way home, I KO.

By the time I woke up from my nap, its almost dinner time liao.....so the whole family (Ah Gong, Yiyi, Erna jiejie, Tutti jiejie, Daddy, Mummy & me) headed to Punggol Plaza for dinner. Daddy's car cannot fit the whole gang of us and to save on bus fare, we waited for 20mins for the free shuttle bus to Punggol Plaza. After dinner and shopping at NTUC, we boarded the free shuttle bus home again.

Hazy Saturday.....

The PSI reading this late morning was at 115 ~ unhealthy range. Daddy & Mummy decided to head to an aircon place for our brunch. Since Mummy needs to get her handphone (a bday gift from Daddy) at Toa Payoh, we decided to head there for our makan. We went to Gourmet Paradise at HDB Hub and I shared a plate of pork rib rice with Mummy.

Then, we headed to Kiddy Palace cos Mummy wants to get some stuff for meimei. At the same time, she wants to see if I would enjoy Kitchen Set cos Yiyi was thinking of getting one for me for my bday present. While Mummy went around shopping, Daddy, Tutti jiejie & I stayed around the indoor playground. I was having so much fun that I refused to go. Mummy was saying since I liked the slide so much, she will suggest to Yiyi to buy me one instead of a kitchen set. *hint*hint*

Next stop was the handphone shop. Mummy got herself a new Nokia 6280 at $218. (Daddy pay, of cos) After paying for the item, we headed to Macdonald cos Mummy needs to transfer all the videos and photos to the new phone before selling away her old one - Nokia 6230 at $140. And before we headed home, we route to Bishan to change some currency (SGD 272) to Indonesian Rupiah cos Tutti jiejie's friend is going back this Sat and Tutti jiejie wants to pass her friend the money to send back to her family. (Exchange rate : 5650)

Along the way home, I knocked out but once Daddy tried to put me down at my mattress at home, I woke up. Seeing that the haze was getting really bad ~ the PSI reading was at 140 and there was a funeral wake downstairs, Daddy & Mummy decided to head towards Compass Point to escape the noise as well as to have our dinner. All of us were not feeling really hungry yet, so we headed to the Library first. After food, we headed home. Hope the haze clears up tomorrow.

Dinner @ Cafe Brios

This month Women Weekly Magazine is having 1-1 dinner promotion at a few hotels. And Mummy has arranged to meet up with Aunty Kelly & Aunty HY + family at Grand Copthorne Hotel @ Cafe Brios. We were early so we headed to Great World City cos Mummy wants to get perfume from Sasa. While Mummy was shopping for her stuff, I was busy playing at ths.....

Mummy bought 2 perfumes. 1 (Lancome-Miracle) was a gift from Yiyi using vouchers and another (Hugo Boss) was a gift from Daddy. Then, we set off for Cafe Brios. We arrived at 7pm, same time as Esther. We got to our big round table with 3 hi-chairs and started our feast. I had some breads, tomatoes, chicken rice and best of all, ice-cream. Look how much fun I had....1 hand holding the spoon, another hand holding my waffle biscuit. Yummy!

After having my fill, I headed towards this fountain area with Gabriel and we had so much fun, wetting our hands and getting scolded from our mummies..Hahaha. After Esther had finished her food, she came and join us too. Our mummies & daddies took turns to "jaga" us while they continued with the buffet spread. And we finally left only at 9+.

Mummy's Birthday Celebration....

Mummy is 1 year older today but she will always stay youthful cos her birthday is on Children's Day. Besides the early celebration at The Lawrys, the next celebration is at K-Box. Mummy has been wanting to sing for the longest time so we booked a small room at Hougang Plaza on Saturday nite from 10pm onwards with Daddy, Mummy, Yiyi and myself. The room is smoke-free, so it was quite ok. And I even helped myself to the mic and hymm on a few songs. It was fun, if only there have Barney songs as well. Daddy, Mummy and Yiyi stayed till the closing ie 3am. For me, I KO since 1am and didnt stir a bit when they were singing. It felt like lullaby to me instead. By the time we got home, it was already 3+ am.

And we woke up only at 10.30am. Erna jiejie came up and bath me and brought me down to Yiyi's house while Daddy & Mummy continued sleeping till 12pm. And we finally left the house only at 1pm and we headed to Wheelock Place cos Mummy wants to get her bday present from Marks & Spencer. Yiyi has given Mummy $100 worth of vouchers as bday present and Mummy wanted to get her nursing bras from there. For lunch, we had something simple - Sakae Sushi. After that, we headed to GongGong's house cos GongGong had bought tickets for the Mid-Actumn Celebration at The MapleWood Park and Cousin Xavia will be coming along too. GongGong cooked up a simple dinner and we headed to the park after dinner.

But I didnt had my nap the whole day, so upon reaching the park, I was feeling so lethargic liao and was clinging to Daddy all the time. Mummy also cannot walk too much liao, so we found a bench near the basketball court and rested there while GongGong and the rest walked around. But I tell you hor, the moment I see the activity at the basketball court, my tiredness is all gone. I stood and watched until Mummy says to join back the group.

But, it was really a warm and hazy nite, so instead of waiting for the lucky draw session, we headed home. Once back, Mummy took out her birthday cake (Double Praline Chocolate from The Patissier....all thanks to Aunty Yan and Meng Choo) and all of us sang her a birthday song and had the yummy cake. Here's wishing Mummy a Happy Birthday and May you always be as youthful and healthy always.
