Sunday Evening BBQ

Aunty Pearly organised a BBQ session and we are invited to join in the fun. Mummy was so busy eating that she didnt take any pix of me (umph)...but well, she got this shot of Daddy cooking the beef machiam like the chef in Licence to Grill. We had lotsa fun playing Matthew's Xmas gift - Playdoh and messing up the floor (hehe) ....and we headed for home at about 9plus with 2 presents from Aunty Pearly, which I really enjoy!

Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

We came back home rather late last night but when Mummy says we are meeting Esther, Cedric, Aidan, Keith and meimei for playdate, I quickly jump out of bed, took my milk, had my bath and was ready to go out. Mummy has arranged to meet up with their mummies at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden for a morning of fun, before heading for lunch together.

We reached the garden at 10.30am and while waiting for Keith to arrive, I helped myself to the art & craft corner where we get to decorate christmas card with all the stationeries, crayons, stickers, punchers available. After finishing the art, I get to hand on the tree, with Daddy's help.

Then, its off into the park where its free admission for children and their accompanied parents/adults. We headed straight to the tree house where there is 2 slides to weeeeeee down. And we had so much fun that Esther & I was smiling all the time.

Then, we explore around the park....the photosynthesis corner.

and the playground where we get to be "Bob The Builder"....scoping the sand and pouring.....very tiring but fun!

By the time, we leave the park, its almost 12noon and its off to lunch at the other side of Botanic Garden where there is an underground foodcourt, but the food there is nothing fancy or nice. After lunch, its home sweet home for our beauty nap.

Christmas Eve at Southhaven II

Its our yearly affair to go to Granduncle Calvin's house for Xmas eve dinner...and no difference this year too. This year, Daddy will be cooking his specialty - Roast Beef for the party as well as preparing the salad dressing for the veg. Everything was ready by 6pm and we headed to Granduncle place and guess what, we were the 1st to arrive....and the rest started coming only at 7+.

Here's our Xmas spread....looks really good, right. There's cooked Mussels, Green Veg, Cheese Platter, Mashed Potato, Smoked Salmon, Oglio Olio Spaghetti, Shepherd Pie, Roast Ham and Roast Beef.

After dinner, Granduncle Calvin says all kids have to give a performance. Jermaine and Jordan were the first to perform. They sang and danced to the tune of Jingle Bells, very entertaining.....next to perform is me, I played the "Mickey Mouse March" and "Down In the Valley" on the piano....then Brandon, meimei, Grace, Rebecca, Angel, Janna with Granduncle and lastly Aunty Jasmine who is the professional pianist....she played a very nice Xmas song as well as "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" tune and all of us go around shaking hands wishing everyone a Blessed Xmas!

We stayed and played till 12midnite before heading home.

My 1st Piano Performance

Today is a special day for me cos I am going to be playing piano in front of an audience....how exciting! Aunty Steph booked a function room in Yamaha Thomson Plaza and all her students will get to either do a solo, duet, trio or group piece. I will be performing 3 times - Mickey Mouse March with my classmates, a Solo piece of Down in the Valley and a finale item with the whole cohort.

And this wont be happening if not for ... Mummy who started learning piano with me and Daddy who took over from Mummy and then guiding me every week with patience and love.

Big Big GongGong's belated Birthday Celebration

8th Dec is big big GongGong's birthday but GuGu's whole family were away to Japan for holiday, so only today then we celebrate GongGong's 71st birthday. Meimei & I are all dressed up, ready to go Lor Ah Soo to pickup GongGong and Vina jiejie.

Dinner is at a Teochew restaurant near Realty Park - Ah Peng Restaurant. We booked 2 tables - 1 table of 10 for the kids and the jiejies and a smaller table for the adults. And the food we ordered is really a lot and all very good. We had lotsa fun at our table cos our daddy & mummy are not around us....hehe.

After dinner, its cake-cutting session. Here's a group pix of big big GongGong with his grandkids. *Smile*

Christmas Dinner at Eastvale

We are celebrating Christmas early this year with our usual khakis like Uncle K, Aunty M, Athena n Irvin; Uncle J, Aunty C n Aidan, Uncle NS, Aunty HY, Esther and Cedric as well as Uncle KW, Aunty KC, Ruiying and Ruixin. Party is held at Eastvale - Athena's place. Dinner is potluck and Daddy will be cooking Roast Beef, Pasta as well as preparing salad dressing for Aunty KC's Garden Salad. Check out the wide spread of food we have......

After dinner, we get to play Nintendo Wii and the adults also joined us....it was so fun!! Then, after everyone has eaten and the dishes are cleared, we got together to get a group picture before the Christmas presents are exchanged. Aunty KC bought for me a cookie cutter, just what I wanted for this Christmas....Thank you, Aunty KC.

This year, the Mummies also joined in the gift exchange.....and Mummy got a very nice set of earrings from Aunty C. I know she likes the gift a lot cos I see her wearing the moment she is back home. Hee!

As for meimei and Ruixin, both of them got the same gift - Princess sleeping gown. Meimei's one is bought by Aunty HY and Ruixin's one is from Mummy......actually, I tik Mummy and Aunty HY "pa-ga" one lah .....but well, both the meimeis really like their presents, cos they changed into their gown and refused to take out.

After everyone has opened their present and happy with what they get, we got around the Chewy Milo Logcake which Aunty C bought from Pine Garden. Ruiying sang a short Christmas Carol and we helped to cut the cake.

Hi-5 is in town.....

Mummy rushed back from work today and drove meimei and I down to Takashimaya to catch Hi-5 who is in town. Their short performance begins at 7pm. Aunty Pearly arrived earlier with Matthew and John and managed to chop a good location for all of us. We reached at about 6.50pm, just in time for the show.

The performance lasted for only 15mins. Then, we headed to the Food Mall to grab our dinner before heading home at about 8.30pm.

Sunday Champagne Brunch @ Equinox

Yes, its to the Equinox again.....actually, Mummy has arranged with Aunty KC to have brunch together but she having toothache, so her reservation is cancelled. But, we decide to carry on cos Daddy is having his oysters and foie gras cravings. Here's meimei & I on the way up to the 70th floor of Swissotel the Stamford.

We got a nice table, near the kids' Playroom. By the way, the Kids' Playroom is now shifted nearer to the dessert corner and there is also "Wii" Station...so cool, right! After eating some food from the main bar, meimei & I head to the kids playroom to have Oreo, strawberries, potato wedges etc....leaving Daddy & Mummy to enjoy their Sunday brunch without us disturbing...hehe.

Then, we took a group pix before heading home.

Yiyi's 29th Birthday

Check out this bouquet of flower....its my gift to Yiyi....nice or not?? Mummy helped me to order online and was delivered to Yiyi's office in the afternoon.

Yiyi turned 29 today and after her dinner date with Yi-Zhang (Uncle Mark), she came over to our place to cut the cake.

Grandma's 68th Birthday Celebration

Yesterday is MaMa's 68th birthday but PePe is not in town, so we postpone the celebration till today. And PePe suggested "Fiesta Brasilia" cos there are having 1-for-1 promotion. We arranged to meet at 7.30pm at United Square. Daddy is not working today, so he take charge to pickup MaMa, Megan jiejie, Jared and Dylan korkor, before picking Mummy up from work, then to Bedok to collect birthday cake.

We were early, so we played with some kiddy rides, before heading to the restaurant. And guess what, we were given a private room....woohoo!!

The food served in this restaurant includes wide variety of BBQ food (chicken wings, chicken thighs, beef, chicken liver, lamb, pineapple) pasta, rice, fruits and ice-cream. Then, we heard some loud drum beat and guitar plucking.....it was the waiters, kitchen crew and restaurant manager singing birthday song to those celebrating their birthday. They sang all 3 version, Brazilian, English and Chinese. We then got MaMa's birthday cake ready and they came to our private room to sing MaMa a birthday song too.....and then is group picture!

Outing to The Polliwogs

Mummy took half day leave today to bring me and meimei out and we will be meeting with RY, RX and Athena for an afternoon at the East Coast Park. We arranged to meet at 2pm at the entrance of Polliwogs.

Mummy bought the promotion package i.e. 8 times for the price of $98.00....we used up 3 tickets (Athena, myself and meimei) today and the reminder 5 got to spend by June 2010. Then, off we go to play....

After playing for 3hours (2pm to 5pm), we headed to the beach. RY,RX, meimei & I played with the sand while Athena had her blading practice before joining us in the beach.

We played till almost 7pm before heading to Waraku nearby for our dinner. Thank you Mummy for taking time off from work to bring us out to play......Muack Muack.
