Its Daddy & Mummy's 5th Year Anniversary and they are going for a dinner date tonite without me and Shaynnen meimei. Mummy says there are going for some Japanese fine-dining, hope they have fun. We love you, Daddy Mummy.....

A visit to Ikea

Daddy & Mummy are home early today from work, so we decided to head to Ikea for dinner......

HIGH FEVER - 41 o C

This morning, I woke up feeling a bit warm but when Daddy checked me with the thermometer, I am 37.1 but I am still jumping and screaming around, having fun. Mummy had to go back to office cos her company has a booth at the Singapore Airshow. After dropping Mummy off to work, we head to Ikea for breakfast. Then, its rushing home to get change to go to Aunty Ros's class.

Once home, I started feeling really hot liao. Daddy checked me and I am burning at 39 degree. Luckily, Mummy came home early. After med, and both Daddy & Mummy started sponging me. And my temp went down to 38.3 but after a while, its started shooting up again to 39.1. Daddy & Mummy then brought me to a clinic in Punggol Plaza. And the doctor gave me paracetomol and Ibrofen. And he says if my temp still continue to be so high at night, he suggest to Daddy to bring me to KKH.

Once home, after eating Ibrufen, my temp went down. But not for long, at 10+, my temp went up again to 39 and the sponging starts again.....and then my temp ding dong up and down.......but at 12midnite, my temp shot up to 40 degree and was shivering away. Daddy & Mummy quickly rushed me to the KKH. Once there, a nurse took my temp....went down to 39.2 and she fed me paracetomol cos the last med I took was Ibrufen at home. Then I was led to see a doctor immediately. She then examined me and confirmed that I am not having any HFM, possibly some fever virus. She prescribed some suppositories, more fever med and I can go home.

By the way we reached home, its already 3am. Seeing that my temp has gone down, Daddy & Mummy KO but luckily at 6am, Mummy woke up and feel me. I am burning HOT again....and the thermometer reads 41 degree. First time I am having such high temp........Mummy quickly shot one suppositories into me and Daddy & Mummy continued sponging me. 1hr later, my temp went down to normal temp and by afternoon, I am back to kicking and playing toys again......What an experience for everyone!!

Why I get such high fever??? Daddy concluded that I must have caught an infection from my wound when I fell from the bus the other day. And seeing that there was no cut, the teachers never wash my wound and Daddy & Mummy didnt realised it until I got the high fever.

Ah Gong's Birthday Dinner

Its Ah Gong's birthday tomorrow but Daddy & Mummy decided to celebrate today cos its a Sunday and everyone is free to attend. But we are not going anywhere far.......just Soup Restaurant at Compass Point. And we get to have Yu-Sheng too........so fun....tossing and throwing the food around....hehe.

CNY Open House @ Aunty Pearly's

Aunty Pearly is opening her house today for CNY visit and mummy's ex-school/classmates like Uncle Yaozong, Aunty Libing, Aunty Rosalind, Aunty Jo, Aunty Sandra are all invited over for lunch. And I get to meet lotsa friends like jiejie Dawn & Dior, Matthew, Johann, Jayden, John, Regine and Deon. I really like Aunty Pearly's house....its big and there's so many toys to play with.

But, after staying for 3 hours, its time to go home for my nap.

Visit to Carrefour.......

Its been a long long while since we visit Carrefour, so Daddy & Mummy decided to head there for a change. The whole display is changed, the detergent, milk powder and diaper section is now at 1st floor. But at least, my favourite compartment.....the cheese and milk section is still at the same old area....

Explorer Kid @ Downtown East

Daddy & Mummy took off today and brought me and meimei to Explorer Kid @ Downtown East (after my school). After lunch at "Different Taste", its sliding, climbing and crawling around the Explorer Kids. Its meimei's 1st attempt and I can tell that she really enjoy. Mummy wanted to book our birthday party there but an aunty said that there is a new Explorer Kid located in another wing, which will start operation in Mar or April. Daddy promised to bring us to the new place to check out the activities before booking our birthday party for this year.

4th Day of CNY

Today is another day of visiting relatives. First stop, Grandaunty Cat's place cos today is Great-grandma's death anniversary and there's plenty of food. After lunch, we head to God-Grandma's place @ AMK. We stayed for quite a while playing with cousin Marcus & Amos' hamsters. Shaynnen meimei was having fun squeezing the hamsters but I was sitting far far away......I kept saying, "I just see, dun want to touch".

After dropping God-Grandma & Aunty Helen to church, we head to Compass Point cos Daddy needs to have a hair-cut. Funny hor.....cut hair only on the 4th day of CNY, not before. One answer from Daddy...."No time"

For dinner, we "da-pao" from opposite and then Daddy & Mummy brought me downstairs to Yiyi's place.....and I tink they are sneaking out to play mahjong at Aunty Kelly's place (again). But I didnt sleep the whole day, I actually KO at 9+.

3rd Day of CNY

After the 1st 2 days of visiting relatives, today is visiting friends day. And becos Aunty Kelly is still doing confinement, Mummy with Aunty Huiyan & Aunty Cath decided to have our gathering at Aunty Kelly's place. We had potluck lunch. Mummy got Tutti jiejie to prepare curry chicken and there's also fried beehoon, fried fishballs, vegetables, ngong hiang and jelly. Daddy & Mummy even had a 2 rounds of mahjong session with Uncle Ben and Uncle NS.

Halfway, Mummy also brought me over to her colleague's home ~ Uncle Richard for baby Ethan month old celebration. But, I was too tired and grouchy, Mummy left after 20 minutes. On the way back to Aunty Kelly's place, I fell asleep and had my beauty nap in Gabe's room.

After dinner, we rushed down to Uncle Jason's place to "Pie-Niang". He was not in town during the 1st day and only got back yesterday and tomorrow, he is flying off again. So, today is the best time to catch him to get my angpows. (hehe). After playing with cousin Xavia for a while, we head home.

2nd Day of CNY

Another day of visiting and we are going to Granduncle Calvin's place at Bukit Timah Road. Grandaunty Yolande has prepared Sukiyaki for lunch.....yummy...yummy. There's even Wagyu beef which granduncle bought back from Japan..........I tell you, its really good.....its just melt in your mouth. After lunch, we stayed for a little while, before heading home for nap.

We spent a lazy afternoon at home, followed by dinner and late-night shopping at Giant. At first, Daddy & Mummy still thought that it will be closed but it was opened everyday and was till 12midnight. Now, we know where to go if we need food for CNY.

GONG XI FA CAI, WANG SHI RU YI

After getting up and dressing up in my CNY outfit, we left for GuGu's house to "pai niang". Then all of us left for GongGong's house together for our Vegetarian breakfast. Mummy says its has been such practice that from 12am of CNY 1st day, we got to fast till the vegetarian breakfast at GongGong's plc.

Then, its off to Great Grandma's place at Serangoon North. We stayed until 1pm before heading home. Cos Mummy's side of relatives are all going Ah Gong's house today, so its so much easier for us. If we are tired, we just go up to rest.....hehe.

CNY Eve ~ Reunion Dinner

There's CNY celebration in school today. Mummy dressed in pretty red traditional outfit. Daddy does not need to go to work but Mummy has to, so after fetching Mummy to work, Daddy drove me to school and waited for me till I finished at 10.30am.

At 1pm, we went to pick Mummy from work. But it was still early to go to GongGong's house for reunion dinner, so Daddy & Mummy decided to give the car a good wash (internally & externally) with Tutti jiejie's help, of cos. At 4pm, we left for GongGong house.......for our reunion dinner.

Before dinner starts, I caught a very amazing scene.......about 7 birds are eating fried beehoon and chicken wing.....they are also having reunion dinner......very sumptous meal for birds hor....

We finished dinner early at 7.30pm. Then, Mummy decided to bring me, together with Yiyi and Uncle Mark to Chinatown to soak the festive spirits and grab some cheap buys. Daddy hates some crowds so he stayed at home and play his computer games....but halfway through the stroll, I fell asleep.

By the time I woke up, its almost 11.pm liao and we were at Kovan to get some pussywillows. After we are almost dine, we called Daddy over to pick us up too.

But after that good nap, I am not sleepy at all, so I helped Daddy & Mummy in their angpow packing before all of us calling it a night at 3am.........* Yawn*
