Grandma's 65th Birthday

Tomorrow is MaMa's 65th Birthday but we are celebrating today cos Daddy & Gugu have appointments tomorrow liao. Anyway, Mummy booked a tatami room at Waraku @ East Coast for 7.30pm. Here's my cousins Jared & Dylan (on the left) and cousins Xavia & Megan (on the right).

We got a private room all to ourselves and all of us were having fun running around the room while the adults busy ordering their food. But once the food arrived, all of us sit down guai guai and eat. Then its cake-cutting session. Here's pix of MaMa with all her grandchildren (first pix w/o Shaynnen meimei cos she was still sleeping...

Then, all of us gathered around and help MaMa to blow her candles. Wish MaMa good health always.

Barney's Christmas Star (again)

As promised by Mummy, we went to watch Barney & Friends today again......this time with Gabriel and Athena. We got a lift from Uncle Ben to United Square to catch the 1pm show. Before that, we went to Pastamania to grab our lunch before joining the queue to get into the sitting area. This time round, I am much closer to Barney & Friends. I really enjoy the show even clapping and moving my hands to the rhythm. Hope Mummy can bring me to watch again.....

After the show, all of us went our separate ways. Mummy & I then headed to Novena MRT Station to catch a train to Orchard. Here's me posing with the fishes @ Wisma Atria Aquarium.

After shopping in Takashimaya for a while, Daddy (who managed to leave his customer's place early) and Yiyi (who is on half day leave) joined us. We went to a Coffee Joint to have tea & cakes. Then, after shopping a while more, we headed to the food junction to "dabao" dinner for everyone at home and headed back.

Barney's Christmas Star

United Square Shopping Mall is having my favourite character - Barney in town....and they are performing Barney's Christmas Star from 17 Nov to 31 Dec. And Daddy & Mummy is bringing me there today to watch the 4pm show. So excited!!

We reached United Square at 3plus and there was already a long queue waiting to get into the sitting area. Mummy worried that we may not be able to grab a seat so decided to chop a place with Meimei's pram outside the barrier. So, here's Daddy & me waiting for the show to begin. Shaynnen is sleeping soundly in her pram with Tutti jiejie jagaing her and Mummy is helping me to take pictures and videoing the show.

The show lasted 30mins and I really enjoy the performance. Then, there is a session of photo-taking with Barney & friends but Daddy & Mummy didnt managed to get a pass for me, so I can only watch as the rest take the pix. (Anyway, ok lah....the previous time when Barney was at Plaza Singapura, I already took one liao)

Well, Mummy is still on leave, she says she will bring me to watch Barney & Friends soon.....yipee!!

Busy Busy Day....

Today is meimei Shaynnen's month old celebration......yar, Daddy & Mummy "cheated" a few days cos they wanted to distribute the cakes to their colleagues on a Friday, instead of a Monday or Tuesday.....so do it today loh. Mummy ordered the cakes from ecreative and they delivered it really early in the morning...tik was at 8.30am. Anyway, Mummy wants to leave the house only after meimei's lunch feed, so after Shaynnen finished drinking at 3pm, we left the house for Daddy & Mummy's office. (Yup, Daddy & Mummy work in the same company)

Well, I went around meeting Daddy & Mummy's colleagues but the "zhu-jiao" today is meimei.....most of them say she looks like Daddy. We stayed until 5pm before heading for the next stop - Grandaunty Yolande's parents place @ Lor Ah Soo. Then, is 3rd/4th Grandaunt place @ Serangoon....Grandma's place @ Serangoon North.....Uncle Jason's place @ Lentor......Big Grandaunt place @ Ang Mo Kio.....Grand Godma's place @ Ang Mo Kio....3rd Granduncle's place @ Hougang. By then, it is already 9pm and all of us are very hungry liao. We headed to a coffee shop and da-bao some zi-char and headed home. Wat a busy day!!

But well, I heard from Daddy & Mummy that they got quite a bit of angpows from everyone, so on behalf of them...."THANK YOU"

Uncle Alvin & Aunty Khim's Wedding...

Today is Mummy's ex-colleagues (Uncle Alvin & Aunty Khim)'s BIG DAY. Well, Mummy officially is still under confinement, so Daddy says betta not go for the wedding dinner cos Mummy cant eat the food. But, Aunty Khim sent an invitation so Mummy decided to go her place for lunch reception instead....and yes, I get to go with her so Tutti jiejie can stay at home with Shaynnen without me disturbing.

Hermitage Shop

Today is Aunty Jo's shop @ Hermitage's grand launch. And Mummy brought me there to celebrate the occasion with her. Her shop is at No 1 Marina Boulevard and we went there by MRT and alight at Raffles Place and walked via The Arcade. It was really a long walk and here's me catching a breather along the way....then I insist Mummy to carry me all the way.

Shopping @ Suntec

Today, all of us stayed at home the whole day until about 6plus in the evening, then Daddy, Mummy & I decided to head out for dinner and grocery shopping. For grocery, Daddy always love to go to Carrefour @ Suntec.

Xmas @ Parkway Parade

Daddy, Mummy & I "sneaked" out to Parkway Parade today.....Tutti jiejie and meimei at home loh doing confinement. (Hahaha) Well, we went to Ajisen for lunch....here's me waiting for my noodles.

Then, we headed outside to take some pictures.....there's snowmen, Santa Claus and a very big Xmas Tree...hmm, if only there's snow.

Then, after shopping and getting our dinner, we headed home....

Xmas Tree Set Up

This is my 3rd year celebrating Christmas but is my 1st time helping to set up the Xmas Tree. But hor, while Daddy, Yiyi, Tutti & Erna jiejie were putting up the ornaments, I was busy removing them from the tree. I tot it look nicer in its original look wat.....

Well, I kenna scolded by Mummy for doing the "opposite" so I stopped removing and after a few touch-up....TA DA, my Xmas Tree in the theme of Gold and Red....nice or not?

Xmas Tree Shopping @ The Concourse

Daddy suggested going to the Concourse to get our Xmas Tree since it will be less crowded on a weekdays esp during office hours. But hor, Daddy & Mummy & I walked and walked around the atrium for so many rounds but still cannot decide which one to get...

Until I got so tired (partly becos I havnt take my nap yet), I insisted Mummy to carry me....

After some bargaining, Daddy finally settled on a 6 feet tall Xmas Tree at the price of $150. And by then, I was already fast asleep on Daddy's shoulder.

School Registration

Daddy is on MC today but he felt better in the afternoon so we headed to Living Santuary at Hougang Street 22 to sign up for my Nursery 1 next year. Well, since I was borned in the year-end of 2004, Aunty Jessie (administrator) suggested that I attend the March-intake. (Anyway, the Jan-intake is also full). Well, there will only be 1 class of 15 students with 2 teachers. Aunty Jessie brought Daddy, Mummy and me around the school....there's the classrooms, toilets, multi-purpose hall for assembly, computer rooms (for K1 & K2 only), dance studio, canteen (for K2 only) and auditorium (for concert) and of course, the playground......

Daddy & Mummy felt the school was not too bad and it is near GongGong's house, so decided to sign me up. Daddy paid $150 for the down-payment and $30 for the registration fee and the rest of the fee will be payable when the school term starts on 19th March 2007. My class (N1) will starts from 3pm to 5pm (2 hrs).

Xmas Lightings @ Orchard

John Little is having toiletries sale and Mummy needs to get some stuff so after our afternoon nap, 3 of us "sneaked" out while Tutti jiejie and meimei stayed at home. After buying the items, Daddy suggested having dinner at Wisma Food Republic at 4th Floor, so instead of walking or driving there, we decided to take the MRT (from Somerset to Orchard). It was so much fun!!

Mummy & I shared a Japanese Bento Set while Daddy had Hokkien Mee. After a heavy meal, all of us decided to walk back instead and view the Xmas Lightings at the same time. But before that, I saw the aquarium at Basement 1 of Wisma, so of cos must capture some shots of me with the fishes...

Then, walking towards Takashimaya, there was this huge Xmas tree at the main atrium at Level 1 . Too bad, meimei is not here to enjoy. Mummy says will bring her here after her one-month old.

Anyway, I cant wait for Xmas to be here......what about you??

Tutti jiejie's Birthday

Mummy has always tot that Tutti jiejie's birthday is on 29th Jan cos her passport says so. But this afternoon, after Ah Gong's checkup, Erna jiejie went to buy a birthday cake for her, only then Mummy realised that the birthdate on the passport was reported in error by the training center. Tutti jiejie's birthday is TODAY!. Mummy then SMS Daddy to suggest going out for dinner for her celebration......and give GongGong a evening OFF since GongGong is eating vegetarian today. Daddy says OK and so after my short nap, we got changed and waited for Daddy to come home.

We headed to Changi Airport T2 Swensen....yipee!! My favourite place. Yar...Mummy sneaked out from her confinement....shhhhh. Erna jiejie and Ah Gong came along too. After our dinner, we ordered Firehouse @ Happy Birthday for Tutti jiejie and all of us sang her a birthday song. And I even helped her in blowing the candle....hehehe.

Then is back home to cut her birthday cake. .....wishing her good health and stay cheerful always....

Friends from Overseas.....

Today, Mummy's friend - Aunty Boon and bb Leanne from Australia and Aunty Josephine came by to our house for a visit. They brought some food for dinner so Gonggong was given a OFF day by mummy. Mummy chit-chat with her friends while I entertained Leanne with my Barney VCDs. Leanne meimei has really beautiful eyes. Hope to see them soon.

My Lunar Birthday...

Today is my Lunar Birthday.....Daddy & Mummy both missed cutting the cake with me on 28th, cos they were at the hospital. So today, Mummy got Daddy to buy a cake for me so we can all take a family photo and sing birthday song for me. There is no "Barney" cake, but Daddy & Mummy both enjoyed the Oreo Cake from Angie The Choice, so Daddy got that for me.

After dinner, we went down to Yiyi's house so Yiyi can helped to take the photo and Erna jiejie can clear up the mess.....(hahah).

Jaundice Checkup Part 2

We headed to Mt A again today and straightaway we headed to the lab office for meimei to prick her foot. This time round, Mummy carried her while she got pricked so her scream were much softer....then we headed to the cafe for our breakfast. Daddy, Mummy and me shared a Club Sandwich while Tutti jiejie had Mee Siam.

Here's a pix of me taken at the Cafe.....well, did you notice that I actually tied my hair. Hmm, eversince meimei is borned or I should say since I turned 2, I am more vain leh.....I dun mind Mummy to tie my hair liao. I wl stand and guai guai wait for Mummy to tie my hair. Do I look pretty??

After makan, we headed to Kinderclinic. And the report came back with the reading of 15.0 (again), Dr Lee says as long as it does not goes up, she is fine.....but meimei got to come back and see her again either on Mon or Tues.

Lunch @ Compass Point

Then, we headed to Compass Point for lunch cos Daddy & Mummy wanted to buy a anklet for meimei. But they cannot find anything they like, so after lunch, we quickly headed home cos we are expecting lotsa of visitors today. True enough, 30 mins after we reached home......Granduncle Larry, Grandaunty Doris and Lucy and Ah Gong came. Then, followed by Grandaunty Catherine and Nancy.....after looking at meimei, they went down to Yiyi's house to play mahjong.

Then, MaMa, GuGu and cousins Megan, Jared and Dylan came......and I brought them to my room to play with my toys. We opened up the PlayDough set and play. I had so much fun running around the house with them.

At about 6pm, they left for dinner. Daddy tried to pat me to sleep cos I have not had my nap since waking up at 8am today....but I refused, still insist to play with my zombie look. Only at about 7plus, then I KO. At 9plus, I woke up from my nap and Mummy brought me down to Yiyi's house cos Daddy is playing mahjong there.

After the mahjong session, Daddy fetched Granduncle Larry and Grandaunty Doris home and I went for car-ride with them.

Jaundice Checkup

Meimei is due for her jaundice checkup today. She is 7 days old liao and Mummy says jaundice usually peak during Day 7 to Day 10. Mummy says when I was a few days old, my jaundice level was at reading of 15 and Daddy & Mummy got to rent a bilibed to phototherapy me at home......hmm, I dun remember a thing leh. Hope meimei will be ok.

Well, all of us got ready by 9.30am and reach Mt A at 10plus. We went to Kinderclinic at Level 6. The nurse registered meimei, then was told to go to the Lab at 1st Flr for blood test. Eeek, pain pain! Meimei of cos, gave a loud scream when the nurse prick her sole. I was outside with Daddy & Tutti jiejie....I can even hear her scream.....must be really painful.

After that, we waited at the lobby area cos the blood test report needs about 30 mins. At ths time, Daddy & Mummy went to the registration office to register for meimei's birth Cert as well. Then we headed to Kinderclinic to wait for our turn. There's a lot of toys and a big plasma TV to entertain me.....

The lab report got back and the reading was at 15.0....same as me!! Dr Lee says that since meimei has been drinking well, putting on weight...she requested that we come back and see her again tomorrow. For me....as long can go kaikai, I am the happiest!! Hahaha.

Lunch @ Cafe Cartel

Then, off we go to Bishan Junction 8 for our lunch. Daddy & Mummy settled for Cafe Cartel and we had a quick lunch cos its almost time for meimei's feed soon.
