Dinner at AMK Hub

We are eating out today. Daddy is meeting someone at Starbucks at 9.30pm at AMK Hub, so we decided to head there for dinner. Uncle Mark and Yiyi are joining us too. Daddy had his salary increment, so its his treat....hehe.

After dinner, we strolled around before heading to NTUC Fair Price.

Check this out......car cum trolley. Luckily, there's two (2) or else meimei and I gonna squabble non-stop.

Small small Gonggong's younger brother - Mummy's 2nd Uncle passed away on last Thursday 24th July and today is his cremation. Mummy says he used to work in SIA and will take a lot of freebies for her, thats why she called her the SIA Uncle.

Mummy took leave to help up in the wake. Early in the morning, she left the house and was back only at 5plus. Mummy says she drove so much today .......from Punggol (our home) to Bedok (SIA granduncle home) to Mandai to Hougang (Temple), back to Bedok, then to Mandai again, to Hougang, to Serangoon then finally Punggol. Before home, she still went to Petrol Kiosk to wash the car and vaccum the interior........Wat a day for Mummy!!

I am sick again.......this morning, just 10mins before school ends, teacher Mrs Ang noticed that I looked really lethargic. Principal Mrs Tan pulled me out from the school bus, checked on my temp....40 degree and quickly called Mummy. While waiting for Mummy to arrive, Mrs Ang and Mrs Tan sponged me and fed me lotsa plain water. At 11.50am, Mummy reached my school and quickly drove me to a PD in Punggol Plaza.

The PD there gave me a suppository and told me to rest. While going back to the car, I threwed up in the lift....so paiseh. Mummy brought me to the toilet to clean up and quickly drive home. I changed to a new set of clothes and went to sleep straightaway. So tired! No strength at all. Mummy then went back to work and ask Tutti jiejie to check on me every 30mins.

My temp was normal till about 6pm. Temp went up and up and I started shivering too. My lips turned blue, finger tips oso blue. Luckily Daddy and Mummy at home liao and they quickly buddled me up and head straight to KKH Emergency unit. In the car, I threw out again. Once I reached the A&E area, the nurse checked on me and found I was having high-fever at 41.2 but otherwise still alert. They quickly checked me into the red door and the nurses there gave Daddy some wet cloth to sponge me. They told Daddy to give me a shower to bring down my temp and will take a urine sample and blood sample to check for infection. Then, I went to a room and was given another suppository, hmmmm actually is 3 suppositories. One for fever, and two for stopping my vomit.

Then the nurse gave Mummy a cup of glucose water and says to start giving me only 1hr from the insert of the suppository i.e 8.50pm. By then, my fever slowly went down but still at 38.4. So doctor got the nurse to feed me paracetomol as well. And doctor says if I do not bring my temp down at about 9..50pm, then will have to admit me. At 8.50pm, I drank my 1st 15ml of glucose water...Yummy! Then 15mins later, another cup, 15 mins later, another cup, 15mins later, another cup. At 9.40pm, the doctor called us back and checked on my temp and its at 37.1. Great! Can go home but I am on anti-botic. No urinal tract infection, just some really nasty bacterial infection on my throat and told to look out for sore on hand, foot and mouth.

Doctor gave me MC to rest at home.......hmm, cannot go Aunty Steph, Aunty Ros and Darryl's swim class this weekend liao.....Umph!

Bye Bye Diapers......

Yes, another milestone for Mummy to record.........I am off diaper liao. Its been almost more than a week liao since I am off diaper at night. If I want to shhh...shhhh at night, I will wake Daddy or Mummy up to bring me to the toilet. Otherwise, Daddy will carry me to the toilet to pee before he goes to sleep (after playing his Maplestory game lah). Those XL size diaper can keep for meimei liao.....but I tik its wl be very long before she can wear....meimei's butt butt so small.....hehe

Drinking Milk.....from the Cup

Yupe, I am drinking from the cup liao.........Daddy & Mummy are so proud of me...hehe. I am a big gal liao, must stop drinking milk from bottle. My close friends in school - Kimi and Sarah are also drinking from cup, so I want to be like them too.

Daddy : Sharwyn, how come you want to drink milk from the cup?

An Afternoon @ Festive Market

After church today, we headed to Hougang Festive Market for lunch and grocery shopping. Both meimei and I insist to have a basket on our own. We want to do our own shopping (lah). Hehe. Then its home to change to my swimwear for swimming lesson.....

John's Birthday Celebration In the Zoo

John didi's birthday is on 22nd July but we are celebrating early for him and best of all,we are celebrating in the zoo. Aunty Pearly has gotten some zoo passes and has invited me, meimei, gabriel, edward and stella, so Mummy took leave to bring us there. And yes, I am skipping school for a fun day out. Hehe.

We arranged to meet at KFC entrance at 11.15am, had our KFC lunch before heading in.

Sit Tight Everyone, we are heading to the Singapore Zoo. But before that, lets ask our map expert, Gabriel and Edward to tell us where should we go?

Well, we missed the timing for Animal Show, so its will be free and easy in the zoo......but at least, we managed to do some really fun thing...

and meimei saw her favorite animal - Big Cat.....hmm, its should be White Tiger.

Then, all of us headed back to Aunty Pearly's place for cake-cutting. By the time we finished our cake, its time to fetch Daddy from work.

Thank you, Aunty Pearly for treating me and meimei to all the rides in the zoo today. I really enjoy myself.

Edward didi's 2nd Birthday

13th July, Sunday. Its Edward didi's actual birth date and Aunty Kelly has requested Darryl gorgor to book a pit for a BBQ session after swimming today. Yum Yum, Deliciouso! Before that, its swimming lesson for Esther, Athemus (spell?) and me.....while Gabe & Aidan wait for their turns, they pose some nice pictures for Mummy.....

After swimming and changing to fresh set of clothes, its digging into yum yum food prepared and BBQed by Uncle NS, Aunty Kelly, Aunty Catherine, Aunty HY. Then meimei and I got around to take pix with Edward didi and give him his pressie. Hope he likes them.

Then, while we waited for the adults to finish their food, we took turns to cycle Aidan's bike and play with this really big dog that was having his evening stroll.

At 7.45pm, we all gathered around Edward didi's birthday cake to sing birthday song and all of us also took turns to help cut his birthday cake. At 8.10pm, we packed up and headed home.

This is really the fastest BBQ session we ever had....hehe. No choice, tomorrow got to go school and work.
