Wedding Reception @ The Bark Cafe

Mummy's secondary friend - Aunty Sandra and Daddy's secondary friend - Uncle Geoffrey are getting married today. Its such a coincidence that they are both daddy & mummy's school friends respectively. Mummy was telling me that this wedding is very special cos almost 90% of the things are hand-made by the bride and groom themselves like the wedding invitation, wedding favors, and even the wedding program below and many many more...oh yes, aunty sandra is also the one that help to make my tiara during yiyi's wedding.

Announcing the arrival of ..........

my cousin didi - Gareth who arrive yesterday 22nd Jan with a good weight of 3.94kg. After class today, we headed to Mt A to visit Aunty Cheryl and bb Gareth.

Didi Gareth was so solid that he doesnt look like a newborn bb at all. Mummy says he looks more like a month old bb. With the help of MaMa, I have bb Gareth on my arm and see.....it was so easy.

Meimei dare not carry him so I continue carrying him while meimei pose a picture with us together.

Away from Home

Not me....its Daddy! He heading to the Silicon Valley of India - Bangalore tonite and will only be back on Sunday 24th Jan early morning. Gonna miss him.

Shenton Way to Suntec City

After our morning classes today, we headed down to Shenton Way cos both Daddy & Mummy want to change currency. And after comparing with a few outlets, Daddy & Mummy deduce that those money changers at The Arcade has the best rate around.

We then headed to a coffee shop nearby for our lunch. Before we head to our next stop, I request to take a picture with the "OUB" signage.

Then, we headed to Suntec City. Its been long time since we visited the Koi Pond so I suggested going there and Mummy paid $2 for a packet of fish food and meimei & I enjoy feeding all the already-very-big koi fish. Hehe.

Then, we also checked out the fountain of wealth before heading home.

Uncle Velu's Wedding Reception

Mummy's colleague - Uncle Velu is holding his wedding reception at an Indian restaurant along Race Course Road and we are invited. Its my first time attending an Indian wedding, wonder how different will it be?

Its a sunday whereby a lot of Indian uncles will be heading to Little India for gathering so Mummy suggest taking a MRT there instead of driving....which is really a good choice cos I got to take public transport ... yipee!! And the choice of food though restricted and spicy....I still get to have naan, papadem and fried rice.

We eat until 8plus, then walked back to MRT station and took an enjoyable ride home.

Fluffy Pancakes....anyone??

While I am busy making my tomato surprise, Daddy is making his next specialty - fluffy pancakes.

And pancakes will only be nice if its goes with caramelized bananas....which is also Daddy's next specialty. The bananas is soft on the inside and crispy sweet on the outside. Very yummy!!

My Tomato Surprise

I have been bugging Daddy to get these ingredients for me cos I want to do my tomato surprise.

And today after my Chinese enrichment class, its my chance to cook.....hehehe....And after a few mins.....here's the end-product....and its all my favorite things!! Nice!! Try it if you like!

Back to School

After a good 1.5 months of school holiday, I am sure glad to go back to school. This year, I will be in K2 and my class is Gloryland I.

Last Day of School Holiday

Today is the last day of school holiday and Daddy & Mummy give us a choice to stay at home to play our games or go somewhere we want to go. Meimei & I discussed and we opt to go to Changi Airport Terminal 3. We want to go back to play the White Castle for the last time cos on 5th Jan, it will be removed. We quickly got change into something warm and nice and was ready to hit the road in 10mins.

We reached Terminal 3 after 20mins of drive. And when we walked to the White Castle, we were glad that it was not really crowded.

Meimei & I had a ball of time and then it was time for dinner. We had our dinner at the Food Court, rested a while before heading back to the White Castle to jump and slide for the last time. Then it heading back home for an early night cos tomorrow is back to school.

2009 Countdown Party

Its been a ritual that we will spend our New Year Eve at GuGu's place eating and be merry from 6plus in the evening all the way to the strike of midnight, welcoming the New Year with all our loved ones with champagne (for the adults) and sparkling juice for the kids. This year is no difference....and after Daddy settled his dessert spread, we are off to GuGu's place.

Check out the wide spread of food that GuGu, PePe and Daddy prepared for tonitz. PePe is in-charge of starters, GuGu - the mains, soup and sides and Daddy - the desserts....what a great team hor...!!

At about 11.50pm, Gu Zhang got ready the champagne and at the strike of midnight, the champagne was popped and everyone welcomed the New Year with a toast!!
