Tick.....Tack......Tock
We are catching a short play today at the Esplanade @ Recital Studio at 2pm. One family of 2 adults & 2 kids cost $50. The play is about 'The Boy who Touched The Moon". We reached right on the dot and was ushered to sit on the ABC mats. After 45mins, the show ended. Daddy looked at Mummy and was surprised that it ended so soon but I tik Mummy enjoyed it. For me, I was really scared when Tick, Tack and Tock appeared in costumes. I hate costumes......i just get scared looking at such thingy but at least I am braver now. I dun cry.
After the show, we went to take some photos before heading to John Little Expo Sale and Timberland Expo Sale. Then its home sweet home for dinner.

Day Trip to JB

Mummy has made plans with Aunty Pearly and Aunty Kelly to go JB today for shopping and dinner. Gabe and I are skipping Aunty Ros's class so that we do not get caught in the jam. After Aunty Steph class, we went home to pick up Daddy, Tutti jiejie, Titi jiejie and meimei. But, before heading to Woodlands chkpt, we had to go to Hougang Green Mall to collect Tutti jiejie's passport.
By 3pm, we reached into JB and headed straight to City Square. We met up with Aunty Pearly and Aunty Kelly for lunch at "Cha-Chang-Ting"....yah, really late lunch. Then we headed to Reject Shop and F.O.S to grab a lot a lot of pretty clothings......HSBC card has 20% discount, so it was really a great savings.
At 7.30pm, we left City Square for Uncle Ben's uncle shop for BBQ food and dessert. Everything was so nice.....Daddy enjoyed the noodles and zu-zu a lot....Mummy likes the kangkong, clams, ta-gua, and of coz, not forgetting the ever-so-yummy Chendol....
After the small jam in customs, we reached home at 11pm.

Korea.....for 4 days 3 nights

Mummy was away to Korea for business trip from 19 Aug to 22 Aug. She is "hitching" on my blog to show us some of the photos she taken. Mummy says she enjoyed the trip a lot cos Aunty Pearly was around to keep her company. Best of all, Koreans never sleep in terms of shopping. Most of the shopping malls in Dongdaemum opened from 10.30am to 5am....yes its 5 in the morning. Mummy was thinking that it will only be a few shops opened but NO, every shops in the mall is open and at 2AM, 3AM, you still lotsa of people strolling into the mall as if its only 8PM. Koreans really have lotsa ENERGY!!

Bounce....Bounce....

We headed to Great World City for dinner, after swimming at Safra Mt Faber. After dinner at Viet Thai, everyone headed home but seeing that there's an Aibi Fair at Level 1, Daddy brought us over and we get to jump on the bouncer over and over again.......
The smallest one cost $138. Mummy says we can get the smaller one but I insists on the bigger one that cost $1688 with surroundings netting. Mummy faints! Hehe. Anyway, we didnt buy anything. After playing for a while, its time to go home....

Transportation

The theme for this term is Transportation and for today's lesson we learnt about Trains. After class, we head to the living room to play the train set. It was fun!
Brunch at Bishan

Aunty Steph sends Mummy SMS this morning saying that she is not feeling well and there will be no music class this morning. Daddy then says let's head to Bishan for Cafe Cartel's breakfast cos its been such a long long time since we had that. We took turns to take our bath and by 10am, we are out of the house.
We reached there at 10.45am, right in time for the breakfast. But Mummy realised that they hve extended their breakfast timing to 11.30am instead of 11am. Great! Daddy had Waffle Delight, Mummy had Ultimate Delight and Tutti jiejie had Pancake Delight.....and we are all delighted!! Hehe!!

Jacobs Gold Biscuit is having some promotion at the atrium and everywhere is filled with Gold Wheat. We took the chance to take some golden picture......hehehe. Then we head to Toa Payoh to buy Tutti jiejie's mobile phone, before rushing to Aunty Ros's class.

Free Dental Checkup

AMK E-hub together with Colgate is holding a free Dental Checkup. Seeing that it is free, Mummy got me to join the tour. After registrating ourselves, we got the 1st stop where some jiejies educate us on how to brush our teeth and telling us to avoid sweets, chocolates cos its bad for our teeth. I answered a question correctly and was given a gift. Next stop, we get to go into a "Plaque Room". 3rd stop is educating us on tooth decay. 4th stop is teaching us that mouthwash is just as important as brushing teeth. Mouthwash will prevent gum infection. I noe Mummy gaggles every day but its too minty and hot for my liking. Hee!
Last stop is teeth check. I just open my mouth and show the dentist jiejie my teeth and then I can go...so easy! The report shows that my set of teeth is good, but must remember to brush my teeth every morning and night.
Mummy heard that today is the last day, they will be in AMK E-hub. Next week, they will be heading to Compass Poiint. Anyone of you who wants free dental checkup, head down......

Happy National Day, Everyone!!

After the morning swim in Aunty Pearly's house, and afternoon nap at home, its time to go out.
Daddy asked me if I want to watch the fireworks and Black Knights again, I said no. So, we "nua" at home until 7pm before heading to Toa Payoh for dinner.
Pool Party @ Jalan Jaruk

Aunty Pearly bought a pool for Matthew & John and invited meimei and me (together with Gabriel and Edward) over for the pool launch. Today is National Day public holiday and there's no Aunty Steph nor Aunty Ros's classes.

At 9am, Mummy woke me up and asked if I want to go Matthew's house to swim.....of cos I said YES....quickly, i changed into my swimsuit and off we go to Aunty Pearly house. Daddy stayed at home and played his Maplestory....

We had a lot of fun splashing, scooping water while Tutti jiejie sprays bubbles around us. We played for about 1hr before Mummy says the sun is getting too hot and we need to be out. We took turns to take our bath and then had fried rice for lunch which Aunty Pearly nicely provide. For the adults, they had curry puffs made by Aunty Zaen. Mummy says it was really good!

After Gabriel and Edward left, Matthew & I sneaked out to play in the pool while Mummy continued to chit chat with Aunty Pearly. And guess what, we soaked ourselves wet while trying to scoop the cars out from the pool. Hee! It was fun playing without our swimming suits. Luckily, there's extra set of dry clothings for me to change. After packing some curry puffs for Daddy, it was time to go home.

Aunty Pearly, thanks for the great fun! Must remember to tell my Mummy again when the next launch of the pool, okie.

Pre-NDP Dinner.....

Mummy is inviting Aunty Kelly & Aunty Pearly (and families) over for dinner tonite. Well, we have been troubling Aunty Kelly with our lunches on Saturday (before Aunty Ros's class) and Aunty Pearly has been playing host for so many times, so Mummy says its time to play host. Mummy got Tutti jiejie to cook her famous chicken rice, crispy pork and veg. For dessert, we have durian puff courtesy of Aunty Kelly and Aunty Pearly.

For entertainment, we will head to Yiyi's house to play Nintendo Wii. Mummy and Aunty Pearly played a game of boxing and they were laughing and boxing at the same time. So funny! Daddy and Uncle Ben played tennis, golf, boxing.......Gabriel, Matthew and me played bowling. It was so fun. At 10pm, all of them headed home. I am still not tired and besides, there's no classes tomorrow, Mummy says I can play until late late...Yipee!

Its National Day Celebration in school today......and we were told to wear red and white. I have the remaining Singapore Flag tattoo from the NDP Preview, so Daddy helped me to paint my face with it. Nice or not....

NDP Preview 2008

We won the ballot for the NDP Preview 2008 tickets and yes.....which means we are going for the show this evening at the Waterfront near Esplanade. We won 6 tickets and so, it will be Daddy, Mummy, Yiyi, Uncle Mark, me and meimei. Actually, Mummy was tiking of bringing Tutti jiejie but the ticket says infant in arm also need a pass. No choice, hope next year we will win the tickets again, then Tutti and Titi jiejie both can go.

Right after Aunty Ros's class, we headed back home to change into red and white attire before driving to Ritz Carlton. Yiyi got a complimentary pass, so we are parking our car there before walking to the Waterfront. We reached at about 4pm but it was still scorching hot, so we stayed around Marina Square. At almost 4.30pm, we strolled towards the checkpoint where our tickets are checked and our bags are screened. Our passes are for the green sector and its the farthest away. By the time we made our way to our seats, we were all wet from perspiration.

But, the tidbits from the Party Pack is good enough to entertain both meimei and me until the show begins. I enjoy the performance from the Black Knights the most. It was really loud but it was good!! Mummy says its the same performance during the Air Show.

By sunset, the weather was much cooler. I was almost wanting to doze off liao but Mummy says the fireworks is coming soon. So I stayed awake till 8pm and then BOOM! The first fireworks fly into the sky and it was beautiful......then more and more........at the end of the show, we sang our National Anthem and our Pledge.
So glad to make it to the NDP Preview Parade this year. Hopefully, we can come again next year. Below is the pictures taken by Mummy. Enjoy!
