Happy Anniversary, Daddy Mummy....

Tonite, Daddy & Mummy went out on a date without me & meimei......Well, its their 4th Wedding Anniversary, so its ok! I approved!! Heard they went La' Sebastian's at Greenwood Avenue for dinner, followed by The Jewel Box - Faber Rocks for dessert and drinks. So romantic hor.....

Today is Daddy & Mummy's 4th year Anniversary and so, both of them have an excuse to take leave to spend time with us....hehehe. Well, we brought Shaynnen meimei to Dr Lee's clinic for her jab as well as to shave her botak. Check out her blog for her latest look.

For me, I had fun riding on the kiddy rides with my new umbrella which Mummy bought for $3.50.

Spot the difference.......

Actually hor, there is no much difference except that the right picture is taken 2 years ago and the left picture is taken today. And yes, that baby in swimwear is me! Yati jiejie's hair also longer liao. Well, Yati jiejie is the one who took care of me, bath me when I go over to GongGong's house in the morning. And come this 8 March, she will finished her contract at GuGu's home and will be returning back to her hometown in Indonesia.

So, Daddy & Mummy decided to give her a treat to thank her for all that she has helped in the past. We picked her up at City Plaza before heading to Forum. Mummy wanted to bring Shaynnen meimei to Fantastic Sam to cut her hair but they do not have that free-first-haircut-promotion anymore. Anyway, a trip to Forum is never made complete if you do not go to Toy'R'Us. And I get to buy a red helmet & a ball all for less than $10.

Now, with the red helmet, I can now go riding on a bike with Gabriel with getting caught by "traffic police". Then, I spotted this great playground at Level 2 and whosh, I went in without waiting for Daddy. (hehe)

After playing for about 15mins, we headed back to the car for Jumbo Seafood Restaurant at East Coast Park for our dinner. We ordered Yati jie's favourite black-peppered crab and some other seafood dishes. And Mummy also helped take a few nice photos of Yati, Erna & Tutti jiejies. (They were friends lah). Then, Yati jie got to report home liao.

Busy...Busy....Busy Saturday

Meet pretty Aunty Pris here......she's Mummy's polytechnic friend. Mummy missed her wedding last year cos she was still having confinement at home. So, today Aunty Pris was really nice to arrange a CNY lunch gathering at her place and I get to meet Mummy's poly friends for the first time. There's also Aunty Fanny & Aunty Jaime.

After a short meetup, we got to leave cos I have my lesson at Ros Schoolhouse at 2.15pm. For lesson today, Aunty Ros got us to use our pincer grip to pick up mashmallows. Then its into our little cosy room for lesson. And for art & craft, we used red packets (angpow) to doll up a cardboard pig which can then be a photo frame.

After lesson, its over to Aunty Kelly's house for CNY gathering....Daddy & Mummy bought some kuehs & cakes from Bengawan Solo for tea-break while Uncle Ben made his ever-nice Hainanese tea. While the adults were busy eating, Gabriel & I went on a date in his bike to buy Yu-Sheng. Wishing everyone a Prosperous New Year.....

Next Stop.....Great Godmum's house

After Granduncle Calvin's place, we headed home to rest cos Daddy was not feeling well. Tik he kenna the gastric virus from Mummy and was feeling giddy. But after a short nap, he felt better and we headed to Great Godmum's place at Ang Mo Kio. Cousin Amos and Marcus showed me their hamsters. I even get to touch it. And I kept saying "Hello" to them.

God-Aunty Helen decorated the pussywillow plant until so nice, Mummy got to get me to pose for a few pictures.

After staying for a while, we left for Bishan to grab dinner. I even had some fun in the kiddy-rides while Mummy got dinner at Mos Burger. I didnt had my nap the whole day, so the moment we reached home, I KO. Yipee....I will get to count my angpows tonitz liao.

3rd Day of Lunar New Year

Granduncle Calvin & Grandaunty Yolande invited us over to their place for steamboat lunch . I am so happy cos I can get to meet all my YiYis again.....There's Grace, Janna & Jermaine YiYi. Arent we all pretty??

Well, I want to complain.....Daddy & Mummy conned me into wearing dress again. After my bath, they let me choose a few dresses but I refused to wear. So, they just let be in my diapers while they all got ready. Then when they are all about to get out of the house, I suddenly realised that I am still not dressed, so I pointed to my body and looked at Daddy saying "Clothes...Clothes". Thats when they took out an outfit and dressed me in it and got me to wear my shoes and we were out in last than 5 mins.....record timing....hahahha. It was so fast that I got no time to complain.

2nd Day of Lunar New Year

GuGu invited us to her place for dinner today. We were supposed to be there at 4pm but Mummy was not feeling well since the morning. She was having heartburn, gastric reflux.....she popped a few med but still not looking good, so Daddy decided to bring her to see doctor. Doctor gives Mummy a stronger medicine and she threw up and felt better. We then headed to GuGu place just in time for "Yu-Sheng".

Then, Daddy fed me some shark fin, abalone soup and rice.....then I am off to play sparkles with my cousins. It was so fun.

Happy Lunar New Year

Its the first day of Lunar New Year.....Daddy & Mummy woke me up at 8.30am,Tutti jiejie bathed me and wanted to get me dressed in the pretty new dress. But hor, being me, I only want to wear clothes that I feel comfortable....shorts & T-shirt. So, what happened!!

I had a tug-and-war game with Daddy & Mummy for almost 45mins before being "bluffed" into this dress....so, instead of reaching GongGong's house at 9.30am, we arrived only at 10.30am.

We had vegetarian breakfast at GongGong's house before heading to Great Grandma's house. But we didnt stay long cos I am having diarrhoea since morning. So, at about 3pm, we headed home to rest and medicine.

After nap, we went down to Ah Gong's house. Actually, the usual practice is to go Grandaunty Doris's house @ Seletar Springs on the first day but this year, Granduncle Larry & Grandaunty went to London to visit Uncle Gerald & Aunty Ming....so Mummy suggested in opening Ah Gong's house. Another reason is today is Ah Gong's 68th birthday...

Chinese New Year Eve

Same as last year, CNY eve will be spent at GongGong's house....this year, we are having reunion lunch cos GuGu needs to go to her parents-in-law's place for dinner. All of us met at 2pm and we had Yu-Sheng first....its was so fun tossing the food without being scolded....hahaha.

MaMa always prepared very nice shark fins soup and steamboat....so of course, I have 1 big bowl of soup and 1 big bowl of rice with fish, tofu, prawn and fishball all by myself. We stayed at GongGong's house until about 5pm before heading home for my nap.

At night, Daddy, Mummy, YiYi & I went to MacDonald for some food. And as promised, we headed to the "Hua-Shi" again. This time round, the price of the flowers really went down by at least half but we only bought the pussywillow at $8 a bunch and the red decoration at 12 stalks for $1. Got to sleep early tonite cos got to reach GongGong's place at 9.30am tomorrow.

Reunion Dinner @ Ah Gong's

Today, we are having reunion dinner at Ah Gong's house. Daddy & Mummy decided to have it at home instead of eating out since we have 2 jiejies to help out this year. Tutti & Erna jiejie helped to prepare the stock and the food. There's corn, beef, chicken, crabstick, abalone, golden mushroom, veg, prawns, fishball, egg tofu, fish, scallop and beehoon......

After the sumptous dinner, guess where I go......

Yes, we went to "Hua-Shi" at Kovan Centre with Uncle Mark & YiYi. Mummy wanted to get some flowers this year for decoration but the price were still high. So Daddy suggests that we come back the next day cos the price will sure slash by at least 50%. We walked around the place for a while more before fetching Uncle Mark home.

Once home, I took my bath and then snuggle into Daddy & Mummy's room and helped them in packing the angpows......Looking forward to receiving just as much angpows as well.

Dinner with Uncle Jason & Aunty Cici

After shopping, we headed to Uncle Jason & Aunty Cici's hotel to pick them up for dinner. But before heading that, we head home to fetch Tutti jiejie and Shaynnen meimei first. Then, its off to ChompChomp at Serangoon Gardens. Uncle Jason has always enjoyed the food there, so we ordered all his fav.....Sambal Sotong, Sambal Stingray...then his ever craving....Chao Guo Tiao. I shared with Mummy the Hokkien Mee and Daddy had Satay Beehoon and Tutti jiejie had Laksa.....yummy!!

Shopping for my new Shoes

Daddy & Mummy have bought my CNY clothes liao but not my shoes, so today we headed to Orchard Road for shopping. After walking to Shaw House, Paragon, Wisma........we finally found this pair, although Daddy & Mummy have another pair in mind, but they cant find the red colour series anywhere liao.....Well, this one not too bad lah. Its Adidas and I like it.....

To the Airport With Me.....

Daddy is coming back tonite.....Yipee!! His flight will be touching down at 10.40pm. Well, I had my afternoon nap liao, so Mummy decide to drive me, Tutti jiejie & Shaynnen meimei to the airport slightly early to let me run around and to have some food. And guess who I met.....its Yingxin with her daddy & mummy. They have came to the airport for dinner and orange shopping at the Cold Storage. It was so nice to see her since Jeannieve's party in Dec that we gave each other a hug.

Then, Yingxin headed home while we headed to Burger King for some light snack. Then, its off to the arrival hall to wait for Daddy.

6th lesson @ Ros Schoolhouse

So fast....this is already my 6th lesson. Today, Mummy gonna drive me to class cos Daddy is not in town. Hmm, it was Mummy's 1st time driving this new car with me in it, not too bad lah. At least, we reached class on time. Well, before the lesson proper, we gather around the red round carpet and get to use a scissors to cut dotted lines on a piece of paper. Mummy has let me play with scissors (of cos with her guidance) before so this is so easy for me. Then, its off to class. We get to learn the alphabet "C" today and the number "7". For art & craft, we get to do Mandarin oranges since its gonna to be CNY soon. Gong Xi Fa Cai.....

To the Airport without Me.....

Daddy & Mummy woke up early this morning to pickup their China friends (Uncle Jason & Aunty Cici) from the airport. It was really early so I rather stay in bed....hehehe. Anyway, Mummy came home at about 11am after settling them down while Daddy head to office. At 12.30pm, Daddy got home too. We then went to Punggol Plaza for lunch but Daddy didnt come back home with us. He had sneaked off while I was having lunch with Mummy to the airport......he is going to KL for 2 nights for conference. I am gonna miss him.

Great Grandma's Birthday.....

We are going to Orchard Hotel @ Triple 3 to celebrate Great Grandma's birthday. Before that, we headed to Specialist Shopping Centre to collect the prosperity pack that Daddy entitled to when he bought his new handphone....then, while we were walking back to the hotel, we heard some drum and trumpets sound. We looked at the road and saw this....there is a group of korkors marching and playing music too....very entertaining. I guess there must be marching all the way to Istana.....but hor, they really create a jam along the road....luckily, we have already parked the car.

At 6.15pm, everyone arrived and we headed to Triple 3 at Level 5 for our buffet dinner. I ate quite a lot....there's pasta, rice puffs, cheerios, ice-creams, crackers and dragonfruits.....yummy. Then after dinner, Megan jiejie brought me to the pool area to play with Xavia....

Then, 3 uncles crowd around our tables and started singing Happy Birthday to Great Grandma. Xavia & I were so entertained that we clapped our hands during their singing. Then, all of us crowd around Great Grandma and took a group picture. Wishing Great Grandma.....Good Health Always!

Sharwyn Goes To the Zoo..

Daddy & Mummy saw that I enjoyed watching Barney Going to the Zoo a lot, so decided to book the Zoo Pass from their office and bring me there today. Well, last night I slept very early @ 9.20pm, so no problem when Daddy & Mummy woke me up at 8plus to get ready for the zoo. At 10am, we reached to Zoological Garden at Mandai. But, first....we need to fill our tummy with food.....we hve KFC for breakfast.

Then, its animals visiting time.......I saw a lot of animals.....There is kangaroo, lions, tigers, elephants, horse, catfish, polar bears, sealion, penguins, giraffe, wild boars, monkeys....and so many many more.

After catching the Polar Bear & Sealion feeding session, it was almost 1.30pm. We decided to head home to catch my afternoon nap. I really enjoy myself. Thank you, Daddy Mummy for bringing me to the Zoo.....

A day out with Uncle Mark & Yiyi

Daddy & Mummy have company event today from 9.45am to 4pm, so they care me off to Uncle Mark & Yiyi. They will be bringing me to Aunty Ros's house instead for class.....but before that, Yiyi & Uncle Mark brought me to MacDonald at Compass Point for breakfast and I have pancake and hashbrown.

But, it was still early....so we had some fun at the Art & Craft area.....both Yiyi & me decorate this picture together....nice or not? At abt 12plus, we took bus and head to Pasir Ris.

For lesson today, we get to make sundae ice-cream....and I was able to say "Ice-Cream" to Daddy & Mummy when they came to fetch me.
