Dinner @ Pasta de Waraku

Today, we are having our dinner out. We are going to Pasta de Waraku at Bugis Iluma cos there are having an opening promotion. Well, for any amount you eat from 22 April to 30 April, you get 100% rebate in form of vouchers. Cool right? Best of all, the shop will always have gift for little ones like me and meimei. The last time we went to the branch at The Central, we got a kiddy keychain each and at this branch, we got doll set. So generous!

For dinner, we ordered 2 pasta, 1 rice, 1 kid set and 2 desserts. Total, we spent $77+ and we got back $80 worth of voucher back to be used between 1st May to 31st May back to this same branch......Mummy says its the best promotion in times of recession...don't you agree?

Hmmm, wonder when are we going back there again? I really luv the pasta there.

Sunday Brunch @ The Playground

Its Feasting time again.....and we are heading back to THE SEAFOOD INTERNATIONAL at THE PLAYGROUND together with Aunty HY, Uncle NS, Aunty Cath and Uncle Jeff. The last time we were there was Nov 2008 and Daddy & Mummy had enjoyed the food. The price is still the same but this time round, for 5 kids, we managed to convince the manager to charge us 7 adults + 1 kid price instead of 6 adults + 3 kids. Good deal, hor! Well, we ate from 11.30am to 2.15pm before making our way home for our beauty nap.

Happy Birthday, Matthew

Its Matthew's birthday party today and we are invited to join in the fun....it will be held at his home from 6pm to late. After running around Sengkang in the afternoon, we finally reached home at 5pm, took our bath and then make our way to his home. We reached at about 6+ and there's already a lot of people. Aunty Pearly prepared Nasi Lemak feast for dinner. After dinner, its games time. 4 big jiejies organised us into 4 teams and my team members are Francis, Sarah led by Aihui jiejie. We had fun completing jigsaw puzzle, passing words and my team won the 3rd prize. Then, its cake-cutting time. Matthew is into Ben 10 character now and his cake is one too, from ecreative. Very nice and I actually ate 3 slices of cake (hehe).....Mummy also bought Ben 10 presents for him, hope he like it. After staying around for a while more, we finally left for home at 10pm.

BONDING TIME

I am going "dating" with Mummy today while meimei is going with Daddy. Well, today is Tutti jiejie's OFF day, so for a change, instead of 4 of us going out together, Daddy suggested that we have split outing. And Mummy & I are heading to Tampines 1, and I think Daddy & meimei are going to Compass Point.

We reached Tampines at about 12noon but the queue to the carpark is really packed, so Mummy parked the car at the HDB Multi-storey opposite the mall and we walked across the road to Tampines 1. We then made our way to the 3rd floor for lunch but it was really packed. So we ended up at Sushi Tei for lunch. Mummy had her salad while I have 3 plates of Tamago Sushi. And guess what, I even bumped into my pal - Kimi. She is there with her family for lunch, before her swimming lesson. At 2pm, we left the mall and headed home. Its a short outing but I really enjoy the companion with Mummy.

Tanglin Mall 2nd-Hand Fashion Bazaar

Mummy together with Grandaunty Doris & Yiyi Mona are selling their "barangs" at Tanglin Mall today. Its from 3pm to 11pm. Daddy fetched them there while we stayed at home with Tutti jiejie.....we will visit Mummy later in the night and fetched her home. Hope she managed to sell her unwanted items....Good Luck, Mummy!

At 9.20pm, we reached Tanglin Mall and there's still crowds everywhere. We found Mummy at her lot No 25, which is right in front of Starbucks Coffee. She is already slashing some of her item to $1 per piece. We waited for Mummy at Macdonalds while Grandaunty Doris, Yiyi Mona & Mummy started packing their items. Mummy brought 2 luggages of item + 1 box. At the end of the night, she sold most of her stuff, has only 1 luggage back and is $148 richer (with $20 already paid to Grandaunty Doris for the cost of the space).

Mummy says the crowd here are made up of mainly Philippinos and the kind of stuff they look for are stuff toys, baby clothings, men's shirt, trouser, woman's home clothings. If you have items like that and you are thinking of throwing them away, dont!! You can earn a decent $$ out of it.

Mummy is thinking of gathering 4 friends to share the lot which cost $85. Anyone interested, can leave your comments. Mummy is thinking more like few months down the road, when we found more stuff to throw away. Hee!

I am starting a new class today, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Daddy & Mummy had brought me to 2 centres - Kovan and Rivervale Mall for the assessment and both teachers said that I know my vowels but the blending is something to work on. They suggest I attend their PRP class. For Rivervale Mall branch, the available timing is not ideal, so when Mummy know that Kovan branch is opening up a new class, she immediately signed me up.

Currently, there are only 2 students in the class and my teacher is Teacher Brandi, a canadian. She is a very pretty teacher. I know I will enjoy my class with her.

Its been 4 years since........

we had our family portrait taken professionally. The last time was 26 November 2005 when I was only 25 months old. You can check it out via http://sleewx.blogspot.com/2005/11/its-saturday-again.html. This time round, we are heading back to Instant Glamour again cos Mummy had 20% discount voucher. Since we booked our appointment 2 weeks ago, Daddy & Mummy have been going on diet so they can look slim in the picture and they managed to.....Daddy had lost 5 kg while Mummy had lost 2 kg. Show you a sample picture of them taken today...

After all the make-up, hairstyling, taking picture, changing outfit, taking pictures, choosing photos, taking picture, choosing photos, we finally get to leave the studio 4 hours later. Then its off to grab our lunch and taking more pictures along Clarke Quay.

We will be able to get our photos almost a week later, so remember to visit my blog again.

Good Friday Outing

Today is a public holiday, Yipee! Instead of lazing at home, Daddy & Mummy decided to bring us to Animal Resort and we are going together with Athena & Irvin. Esther & Cedric supposed to join us but they are not feeling well. Hope they get well soon and can join us in the next outing. Well, Xavia & Vina jiejie are joining us instead cos PePe has to work today and Aunty Cheryl is away to Penang.

We arranged to meet up with Aunty Mel, Uncle Kevin, Athena & Irvin at our place at 9.45am and we can all ride together in Daddy's car. Together with Xavia & Vina jiejie, there's 11 pax in the car.....and off we go! Its just along Jln Kayu, turned right to Ju Eng Home and hidden in the corner. Best part is the admission is free but its really a small resort with some rabbits, a fish pond, an area with 1 goat, a big cage of parrots and peacocks. Although its only a small area but we all had fun feeding the rabbits carrots, fishes and admiring the beautiful peacock, who is busy showing off. Hehe.

After almost 1.5hrs of fun in the resort, we headed to Changi Airport Terminal 2. It was still early for lunch, so we just ran around the departure hall, took some pictures while Daddy, Mummy, Aunty Mel & Uncle Kevin had their rest at the Starbucks Cafe.

At about 1pm, we headed to the Staff Canteen at Level 3M for our lunch. Then its home sweet home.
