To Airport with Gabriel

Haircut @ Compass Point

My fringe is getting too long so its time for hair-cut. So, we headed to "Okinawa" at Compass Point. Usually, I must sit on either Daddy or Mummy's lap to let the Jiejie to cut my hair but today, I was fine all by myself. Daddy & Mummy are so proud of me.

After that, we headed to the Foodcourt for dinner before going home. On the way home, I was feeling really tired liao (I didnt take my nap mah).....so before reaching the carpark, you can hear me snoring away!! Hehe!

And hor, Daddy & Mummy actually went "dating" after fetching Tutti jiejie, Shaynnen meimei and me home. Why I know? Cos when I woke up from my nap after 1hr plus, they just returned home......."Urmph". They told me they went to Giant @ Tampines for grocery shopping and even bought durians back for everyone.

3rd week @ Term 2

Its my 3rd lesson at Ros Schoolhouse. Before the class start, Aunty Ros wants all Daddies or Mummies to say 3 good things about us that happened in the week. Mummy shared with everyone these :

1) I will keep my toys by myself

2) I love meimei a lot

3) I can do the "tangrams" after Mummy showed how to do it once.

Then, all of us went into the aircon room for our lesson .....we learned the alphabet "H" today....and remember the paper clay that we did last week, its dried up liao so we get to paint on them today.

And straight after class, we headed home......and Gabriel was so nice to walk me down to Daddy's car....hehehe. No lar, Aunty Kelly was returning Daddy a card so Gabriel walked me to the car while Aunty Kelly went to get the thing. We played for a while at the voiddeck before kissing each other byebye....

Shaynnen 妹妹 & me

To The Zoo....

Aunty Jen got 2 passes (permit 8 adults) from her office and all of us are going to the Zoo today. All of us arranged to meet at 9.30am. Mummy woke me up early at 8am and we managed to reach there early and have breakfast at KFC while waiting for the rest. Tutti jiejie didnt come along today cos not enough pass.......so actually, its the first time Daddy, Mummy, meimei and me go out together as a family leh....

At 10am, Gabriel & Jeannieve also arrived and we started to make our way into the Zoo. Gabriel was so nice, holding my hands while we walked. 1st stop is to see Polar Bear feeding. Along the way, we also saw giraffe and orang utan.

Walking...walking...Hop...Hop...Hop, then we spotted an aircon shelter...so all of us went in to take a rest and take photos too. *Cheese*

Then, its to the Children's Playarea for some water splashing......Yipee!! My favourite!!

After splashing, we got changed and went to play the slide. Emi jiejie cooked some beehoon from the leftovers from yesterday's steamboat, so for lunch....its fried beehoon. Nice!

After eating and packing up, its almost 1pm liao....by then, all of us are so tired liao, no strength to walk liao. Athena and Gabriel were in their pram.....while Jeannieve and me got our Daddies to carry us. And when I reached into the car, I KO liao.

Fun Day @ Pasir Ris .....

I am on my way to Aunty Ros's house for my 2nd week of lesson.....do I look cool in my shades??

Gabriel & Aunty Kelly were already there when we arrived. Not long later, Aidan, Esther and Jeannieve also arrived and we start the class with welcome song. Then Aunty Ros gathered all of us together and told us to bring out our weather homework. And I found out that not everyone has the same weather chart as mine. My chart has 6 days of sunny days but Aunty Ros has less....hmmm. Anyway, after showing my homework, Aunty Ros asked each of our Daddy or Mummy to say 2 good things about us.

Daddy says that I am a good girl cos I am able to follow instructions very well...eg, When Daddy asked me to press "6" or "2" of the lift button, I can do so without any problem. Another thing is my relationship with meimei......cos just yesterday when I was at Ah Gong's house, after finish watching Barney, I actually head for the door and says 'meimei' instead of 'Daddy or Mummy'. Daddy was out with his friend and Mummy was still working....so I worried meimei will be lonely mah....so I want to go home and play with her, keep her company....

After sharing, we headed into the classroom. This week is Daddy's turn.....We learnt the alphabet G and the number "2". And we also get to play with paper clay. Daddy helped me to flatten the clay and we used shapes to cut them out. Aunty Ros says next week, we will get to paint them...

After class, we went down to Aunty Kelly's house cos we are having steamboat at her place tonite. But it was still early, so Mummy suggest that we check-out the fishing pond at Pasir Ris Park (near WhiteSands). This place is really so much bigger compared to the one in Yishun. And while we were walking to see the prawn pond, we saw some Uncles pulling a long rope and a closer look, there are all 5-7 big big fishes. Wow!!

After walking for about an hour, its time to go back for dinner. While the adults get busy in preparing the food, Gabriel, Edward & me stared at the TV and watched our Barney. For the steamboat, Aunty Kelly bought a lot of food and the cost to be shared among each family. Mummy says its the 2nd best steamboat that she has...1st one, of cos is Ah-Ma's one loh. Aunty Kelly put a lot of ingredients for the soup base and its really yummy. I ate a lot too...

After dinner, Uncle Ben rewarded all of us with Uncle Ryan's ice-cream......yummy!

Bowling Tournament

Mummy woke up early today cos her company is having bowling tournament at Mt Faber, Safra. Her tournament starts at 9.30am but Daddy & me still feeling lazy, so Mummy went there on her own. But, we promised to pick her up after the game. At 12pm, we picked Mummy up for lunch and she showed me this....

She has won the third prize for team category..... So happy for her!

For lunch, we headed down to ABC Food Centre (behind Ikea Alexandra). Daddy went there before and says the chicken rice and the roti prata there is very yummy. We ordered the same food and I tell you hor....it is the best chicken rice I eaten. Really really really good!

After lunch, we headed down to SGH to visit Ah Gong again. The weather was really hot, so Daddy let me have an ice-cream treat. Its really licking good!! We stayed in the hospital for about an hour, before heading home.

Daddy's Specialty

For dinner, Daddy cooked his specialty dish - Stir-Fried Beef and Asparagus with Golden Mushroom. And the white white thing you see is Buttered Herb Rice. Its Daddy's 1st time cooking but I tell you.....its really nice!! I am so lucky to have such a great cook Daddy...... Mummy enjoyed the food a lot too, hmm maybe I can help Daddy to cook same dish for Mummy during Mother's Day (*hint*hint*)

Term 2 @ Ros Schoolhouse

Today is the start of my new term in Ros Schoolhouse and I have a new classmate - Aidan who is Esther's cousin. For this term, we have another 50 new flashcards to learn. And every week, I got to learn 10 new words.....and if I managed to...Aunty Ros will give me Ros Schoolhouse money which I can used it to buy for things at her "shop". This week, we learn the alphabet "G" and we also get to bring home a file with jotter book and storybook. For art & craft, we made a porcupine....and do you noe that the sharp sharp thing on their body is called QUILLS. And Aunty Ros also said that a porcupine may have as many as 30,000 quills.

Playtime @ Gabriel's house

After class, we went down to Gabriel's place. Aunty Kelly bought some pastries and Uncle Ben made his famous Hainanese tea. I just enjoy myself playing the slide, house and playdough with Esther, Gabriel and Aidan.

Hospital Visit

Remember, Ah gong is in hospital since yesterday.....so after Gabriel's house, we decided to pop by. But we didnt stay long cos the jiejie nurses said better not have young kids like meimei and me in the ward cos there's lotsa germs. So after staying for about an hour (most of them at the lobby area), we left for dinner.

Shopping @ Carrefour

We head down to Suntec Carrefour cos its time for our weekly grocery buys. But, before that, we got to fill up our tummy, so we went to the foodcourt. And Mummy shared a plate of chicken cutlet rice with me and I "sa-po" 75% of the rice and chicken.....yummy! Look, here's me helping Daddy in pushing the trolley.

Friday the 13th....

Ah Gong is admitted to hospital, cos during his checkup today, the doctor found out that the "pager" that Ah Gong has ... Mummy called it the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) has been giving him shock for the wrong reason. The "pager" is supposed to shock Ah Gong only if his heart stopped but hor....doctor found that it has shocked him 13th time even when his heart is ok. I tik the pager no more battery lah.So hor, Ah Gong got to stay in hospital to let the doctor change his pager to a new one....maybe to a "handphone". So today, after school.....we headed down to SGH to visit Ah Gong.

To the Airport....

Daddy woke me up early at 9am cos we are fetching Mummy, remember!! Mummy's flight is due to touch down at 11.10am. Luckily, we reached there early for breakfast cos Mummy's flight actually arrived earlier than expected and she was out from the gate even before 11am. Mummy didnt sleep well the night before, so we decided to head home to take a nap before heading out for shopping.

My new Crocs

My old Crocs (Size 6/7) is getting too small for my feet, so Daddy & Mummy decided to head to Marina Square to get me a new pair. After choosing between the kids cayman (red), kids mary jane (red) & kids disney @ caymen (red/black), I finally agreed to this pair.....so, presenting to you.....my new Disney edition Crocs (Size 8/9). Its a little big but ok lah. Nice or not!!

After getting my new shoes, its time for dinner. We had Ramen at this shop called面爱面, located at 3rd floor. Its really good that I actually eaten 1/2 of the noodles from Mummy, the soup is the best....somemore got collagen. Do check out this store if you are in Marina Square. After eating so much, its time to "exercise"...by posing for photos.

Before heading home, we headed to Aunty Kelly's place to pass her the Liverpool Jerseys which Mummy bought from Bangkok for Uncle Ben, Gabriel & Edward. We didnt stay too late cos Gabriel got to go school the next day and Mummy is on morning shift this week.

No lesson @ Ros Schoolhouse

Aunty Ros postponed Term 2 lesson to next week....boohoo, I am gonna miss meeting my friends and learning new things. Luckily, Aunty Kelly organised a little gathering at her place. Gabriel has a structure at home and will like his friends to join him in decorating it.

We reached Aunty Kelly's house at about 2pm after buying some bread for the curry chicken and kueh kuehs for tea. Mummy was not with us cos she has left on an early flight to bangkok, and she promised me that she will be back by tomorrow morning.....so, ok loh, I shall enjoy my Saturday with Daddy.

Guess what is the structure that Gabriel has.....its a house!! Esther was also there to help with the decoration. All 3 of us had so much fun painting it....Gabriel even painted Esther's face.

After playing and painting till about 4pm, its time to go home for my afternoon nap. For dinner, we ordered Pizza before heading to Compass Point. Gonna sleep early so I can wake up early to fetch Mummy.

Good Friday Holiday

Its a holiday...yipee! It means Daddy & Mummy no need to work and we can go shopping. Daddy & Mummy decided to head to Parkway Parade cos Mummy wants to develop photos and Daddy wants to get some food from Cold Storage for his ox-tail stew which he is cooking for dinner.

After lunch at the foodcourt, we went shopping at Cold Storage, Giant....then its home sweet home to prepare the yummy dinner. Yes, its just Ox-Tail Beef Stew and a loaf of delifrance bread. U want to ask me nice or not.....sorry, I cannot answer you cos its kinda pepperish, so Daddy & Mummy bought me a bento set instead. Anyway, during dinner.....Daddy was really busy making phonecall after phonecall. His customer wants an urgent parts to be sent to Bangkok and they want a hand-carry service. Daddy alerted his team but no response from them for about an hour, so Mummy volunteer her service (both of them in the same co lar). And Mummy is due to leave on early flight to Bangkok. So, after dinner, we head to Bishan Junction 8 to change currency and then to Mummy's office to print her hotel voucher before heading home.

Looking forward to next public holiday!
