An Afternoon in E!Hub

After school, as promised, Daddy & Mummy gonna bring us to play bowling. But first, we got to eat.....we decide to have New York New York. We ordered waffle with chocolate ice cream, french fries, deep fried mushroom and beef sandwich to share.

Then, we head to Orchid Bowl and Daddy bought 8 games for me, Tutti jiejie and Daddy & Mummy. Each game cost $4 while kid's game cost $3.

Daddy tried to teach me how to bowl but the bowling ball is too heavy for me. The lightest around is 6 pounds, so no choice, I end up rolling the ball instead and the game took really really long. Meimei tried a few rounds too and I also guide her how to roll.

At 5.30pm, we finally finished all our 8 games and headed home. Big big GongGong is coming over for dinner, so Tutti jiejie got to rush back to cook dinner. After dropping Tutti jiejie home, Daddy & Mummy brought meimei and me to Compass Point to buy our small cake for another round of candle-blowing and cake-cutting. Mummy says it will be a really small cake cos we still have 2 big cakes at home from Sunday's party.

School Celebration....

Daddy & Mummy are not working today, they took leave to bring me to school for my mini birthday celebration. I also get to dress in my favorite dress. During assembly, everyone sang me a birthday song and I get to blow a candle. Then its back to class. Daddy & Mummy says will bring me and meimei to bowling after my school. Yipee!!

My & Shaynnen 妹妹 Birthday Party

Our birthday falls on 28th October, initially it was on a public holiday - Deepavali but the Indian calendar changed last minute and the public holiday is now on 27th October. So, Mummy booked our birthday party on 26th October, a Sunday instead. For this year, we are going to ExplorerKids to celebrate. 2 years ago, it was Explorerkids @ Downtown East but Daddy & Mummy didnt get to attend my party cos meimei "gatecrashed". Hehe.

For this year's party, it will be Explorerkids @ E!Hub and its much bigger and I am so looking forward to it. At 8.30am, Ecreative delivered my birthday cake. Mummy woke up at the same time and packed my party packs together with Tutti and Titi jiejie. We woke up almost 10am and after our bath, we stayed in the room to watch Dora The Explorer. After lunch, we are all ready to go. My party is from 3.30pm to 5.30pm but it comes with unlimited free play, so of cos I must make full use of it. Everyone hop into the car with the 2 birthday cakes, party packs, some cakes for the adults and our party dress.

We reached at 2.40pm but Room 1 were being used, so we left our stuff in Room 2. Daddy then brought me and

妹妹 to the MegaStructure to play while Mummy watched over our stuff and wait for our friends to arrive. Slowly, all my friends, classmates and cousins arrived and Room 1 was also cleaned up. We continued playing till 4.15pm, then Mummy got Titi jiejie to change me and 妹妹 into our birthday dresses. At 4.30pm, everyone returned back to the room 1 and we started our games. We played Human Statues.....like posing as Superman, Batman etc. It was so funny, everyone doing different pose and we were rewarded with sweets n chocolate for our creative pattern. Next, we played Musical chairs......those who didnt get to sit on the chair after the music stopped will be out of the game but we get to receive a gift, so not too bad. After the 2nd round, I am out....hehe. I continued watching my friends have fun....but at the 4th round, my bestie Yuriko got hit by a boy for snatching his seat. I was so worried that she will cry and go home. Her mummy also start to move towards the games area after what happened. Mummy also noticed that all the daddies and mummies stopped their conversation and start looking at the games, trying to make sure that their kids were ok. At the end, Bryan Ang won the game and he got a lot of goodies.

Next is cake-cutting session and I get to cut my cake first, cos 妹妹 is taking her nap. I also took a group photo with my classmates and friends, before everyone sing me my birthday song. After the song ended, I was looking forward to blowing my 4 candles but my friends blew off 3, so I end up with only 1. Umph! Mummy then took my cake away for Titi jiejie to cut while we get 妹妹's cake out. But 妹妹 was grouchy for disturbing her from her nap that she was crying when it was time to blow her candles, so Mummy asked me to help her instead. Then we proceed with our makan session. We were also given a balloon each and we had a mini balloon fight, it was so fun. At 5.30pm, my party in the function room ended, but with the unlimited free play, some of us continue to play in the MegaStructure. I am still in such high energy that I played until 7.15pm. Thats almost 5hrs of play. Then we headed to Different Tastes for dinner. Halfway thru the dinner, I cannot tahan and fell asleep.

Krista's 4th Birthday

Krista is inviting me to her 4th year old party @ JWT at UE Square. Its from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. After Aunty Ros's class, we headed home to get changed and tried to sneak a nap but was too excited to sleep. At 3.45pm, we head for UE Square and reached there just in time for the party.

But, hmmmm, Shaynnen 妹妹 & me preferred the slide at the side of the hall. While the host were leading the games, 妹妹 & I played at our corner. But once a while, we will mingle together and join in the fun. At 5pm, we all took a break and have our food + birthday cake. Krista's cake is princess theme and she is also dressed in Snow White.

After food, there's more games. This time round, I joined in the games cos we are playing with balls and bubbles...there's even Tug of War but I didnt play that. At 6.15pm, we all gathered cos Krista is distributing the party flavours and then its home sweet home.

But, no we didnt head home. We went to Plaza Singapura for our grocery shopping and simple dinner at Toastbox, collected 妹妹's cake from Aunty Dawn and then head home. It'll be my birthday party tomorrow and I am so looking forward to it.

Tutti jiejie is coming home today.......I noe Tutti jiejie luv Hello Kitty a lot, so I am going to let her have the Hello Kitty balloon I got from Athena this morning. I am going to wave the balloon the moment I see her walking out to the belt. After 45mins of waiting, we finally saw Tutti jiejie walking out. She looked so much darker. All of us then headed home to put down her luggage, before picking up small small gonggong and Yiyi and headed to Yishun "Taste of Thailand" for dinner......

Its sure nice to have Tutti jiejie back home.....with us. With the renewed contract, she will be getting a new salary and 1 off day per month

Ros Schoolhouse ~ Badminton

For today lesson, instead of Aunty Ros, we have a relief teacher - Aunty Donna. Aunty Ros has to attend Joakim korkor's graduation ceremony. Class goes on rather well and then at the end of the class, we get to play badminton cos Aunty Donna taught us that being professional in sports, can also be an Occupation. Each of us took a badminton racket and I paired up with Xavia to play.....but most of the time, the shuttlecock is on the floor. Hee!

Happy Birthday, Athena

Today is Athena's birthday.....but since we wont get to meet her in class anymore. (She has stopped Aunty Ros class this term and for music, she has joined another class) Mummy decided to pop over her place to pass her the birthday gift before Aunty Steph's class. Aunty HY says she has present for Athena too, so we all arranged to meet at 10.15am at EastVale.

Once we reached, Aunty Mel took out a cake that she made herself......hmm, actually the cake was bought but she decorated with her own fondant. Very pretty hor. After the purple marble fondant, it definitely look like its worth a lot a lot more. We then gathered around the cake and sang birthday song.

After Athena opened the presents, we played around for a little while more and then head to Aunty Steph's class for lesson.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

After Mummy's birthday, next comes Daddy's. Both Daddy & Mummy going for dinner date without me and meimei again...Umph! Heard they are going to Blue Lobster....Daddy liked the steak there.

After their dinner, they rushed to Emicake to grab Daddy's birthday cake ~ Mango flavor. Daddy initially want to bake his own cheesecake (from Aunty Dawn's receipe) but no time. So, its cake from the shop.

Sunday Afternoon with Yiyi & Uncle Mark

Yiyi & Uncle Mark brought me out today, to Bugis to choose my own birthday present. Guess what I choose....hmm, no, not Dora....cos I noe I will be receiving a few Dora toys liao. I chose Thomas the Train.....I want to have my own train set too. Hehe. I will share with meimei, dun worry.

But, instead of Yiyi who pay for the gift, it was Granduncle Michael - Uncle Mark's daddy! Hmm, so Yiyi, you still owe me and meimei present okie....hehee

After grabbing the gift, we headed to Orchard to meet up with Mummy, Daddy & meimei. And all of us had dinner at Sakae Sushi before heading home.

United Square on a Saturday....

There will be no swimming lesson for me for 6 weeks. Darryl gorgor is away and a new coach named Herman is taking over our class temporary (or permanently??). Mummy decides that I shall skip the 6 lessons as she noes I will be more comfortable with Darryl gorgor than anyone else. Meanwhile, to make sure that I do not miss out too much, Daddy will coach me in either Grandaunty Doris's condo pool or Xavia's.

But today, there will be no coaching cos I am down with runny nose and Mummy wants me to recover well for my birthday party i.e. 2 weeks from now. So, instead of heading to the pool, we are heading to United Square. Mummy wants to get either new dresses or new tops for both meimei & me for our birthday party. But after checking out all the boutiques in United Square, we cant find anything fancy.....the search shall continues..hee

New School Term @ Ros Schoolhouse

For this term, we are learning "Occupation". Aunty Ros asked me what do I want to be when I grow up. Some of my classmates said "Pilot, Teacher, Doctor....."Hmm, I have no answer now.....but I will definitely give it a thought.

Happy 4th Birthday, Gabriel....

Today is Gabe's 4th bday....Mummy & Aunty Kelly planned to meet at Swensen @ Terminal 2 for ice-cream and fries to celebrate gabriel's birthday. After work, Daddy & Mummy came home to pick us up. But before heading to the airport, we went to Aunty Pearly's place to pickup Matthew, John, Aunty Zaen, Aunty Ruli and of cos Aunty Pearly to Airport together. Aunty Pearly has not been feeling well, so we offered to drive her there or else Matthew & John will not be able to join us.

We reached at about 8pm and headed straight to Swensen. And thanks to Matthew's God-pa, we managed to get a seat almost immediately. Aunty Kelly then ordered 2 huge earthquake ice-cream and some fries. Yummy!

Then Mummy suggested going for a ride on the skytrain. Yipee!! Tik Matthew is the happiest cos that was his request when we were in the carpark.

After the short roundabout ride, we head back to Terminal 2 and had some fun catching balloons. At 10pm, we called it a day and headed home. On the ride back, Matthew & I took the last row and we have so much fun playing "Scissor, Paper, Stone....."

Before we sleep......

These few nights before we sleep, meimei & I will bring our collection of storybooks into Daddy & Mummy's bedroom. Daddy will read a book and Mummy will read another book.....I will read a few books myself before lights off and everyone goes to sleep....

New Denim Dress.....

Thanks to Aunty Pearly......both meimei & I each have a new denim dress to add into our wardrobe.
Its our birthday gift from Aunty Pearly and we really luv it.

Mummy's Birthday Cake

Yiyi got Mummy a cake from Awfully Chocolate ~ Chocolate Banana flavor. Both meimei and me helped Mummy to blow the candles and cut the cake. I also helped to serve the cake to everyone.

Hmm, want to know what Daddy got for Mummy.....well, its pendicure package from Nailscode worth $280. Juz nice, Mummy says her package is finishing soon, so this present comes at the right time.

When Mummy & Daddy are away for dinner, I made a birthday card for Mummy with the help of Yiyi. I selected the photo and Yiyi printed it out and helped me with the wordings, but I colored the heart, sun and flowers. I love you, Mummy!!

Japanese Fine Dining @ Tatsuya

Daddy & Mummy are going for a dinner date tonite.....without me and meimei (Humph). They are going for Japanese Fine Dining lah at Park Hotel (the previous Crown Prince Hotel). Mummy surfed the web for recommendation and this restaurant was highly recommended but you must be prepared to spend.

The waitresses there are all dressed in Ukatas....very Japanese. Daddy & Mummy not sure what to order. The chief waitress suggest for surprise menu which will cost $180 each (excluding tax). Daddy & Mummy say since its their 1st time at the restaurant, they will order from the menu. And these are what they ordered....

Mummy & Daddy says the sashimi for two (16 pcs) and sushi for one are the best they have eaten so far and some of them even melt in their mouth......the grilled beef is so tender, its juz disappear in the mouth after a few chews.......the chawanmushi has no eggy taste and its so silky, its juz slide through the tongue and gone....tempura can give a skip though......seafood. Overall experience....SHIOK and those with big budget (about $300) and luv Japanese food definitely should give it a try. You will never regret it!!!
