Hotel Stay in Singapore.....

Its Mummy's birthday tomorrow and we are spending a night away from home tonite....so exciting. Mummy tells me that we are going to a hotel. I told her I know that word....its also in the flashcard for this term.

Mummy got a complimentary voucher to stay in the Accord range of Hotel. Mummy selected Grand Mercure Roxy and also upgrade to the suite room so we can get to enjoy the Royal Club Privilege. I dun noe what is that but Mummy says there's free food....hee. Nice!!

After lunch at Punggol Plaza, we drive straight to the hotel. We checked-in at 2.30pm and our room is on the #13 floor. The room is very big......the toilet oso very big.......there's bath tub to play, and from the window, I can see the swimming pool but Mummy didnt bring our costumes.....

After checking out the whole room, we head to the #17 floor where the Royal Club facility is.....and wow, the view there is "lagi nice"....can see ships leh. We got ourselves a seat near the window, of course and a jiejie served daddy - coffee, mummy - tea and for meimei and me, we each have a glass of apple juice. We also got a plate of cookies, dried vegetables and fruits to eat.

After filling up our tummy, its time to get ourselves wet. No lah, no swimming....Mummy purposely didnt bring our costumes. But its ok, we have the bath tub to soak ourselves. Mummy even brought our usual scoops and waterguns for us to play.

Then, its watching Hi-5 time and jumping on the bed.....Mummy says we can jump on this bed all we like......Yipee!!

At 6pm, we head back to #17 floor again cos' there's evening cocktail. Mummy & Daddy had 1 glass of red wine each, and meimei and I shared a glass of apple juice and chips and strawberries. After that, we went to 3rd floor for our dinner @ The Feast. Mummy has the 50% discount voucher, of cos must eat from the restaurant in the hotel. The food ok lah but I enjoyed the ice-cream the most. Yummy!

Next morning, Mummy woke us up at 8am and after changing out from our PJs, we head back to #17 floor for our breakfast. The breakfast spread was great......I know Daddy and Mummy enjoyed and eat a lot......By the time we finished our breakfast, its already almost 10am.

Then, its back to our room for another bath tub time......then relax at our corner to watch DVD. At 12 noon, we checked out......and Daddy & Mummy promised that we will book another hotel to stay soon.

After checking out from the hotel, we head to Parkway Parade......actually Mummy wanted to get meimei and me new dresses for our birthday party but cannot find anything nice. So after a few kiddy rides, we headed home.

3 weeks without Tutti jiejie
Tutti jiejie is going home today, for 3 weeks for home leave, to celebrate Hari Raya with her family members.
Meimei was so angry with her that she didnt want to let Tutti jiejie carry her when we were at the airport. Meimei ran away and found a monkey bar to swing on instead. Hee!
Have a safe trip home, Tutti jiejie!!
See ya back in 3 weeks time......

Formula 1 is in town.......

Yiyi got free tickets to Friday 26th Sep F1 practice race. She initially wanted to go with Uncle Mark but Uncle Mark is not interested, so Yiyi gave the tickets to Daddy & Mummy instead. Free tickets....sure go! Mummy left work early at 5pm, reached Daddy's office on time at 5.30pm and then drive the car to Kovan MRT, park at the carpark, before hopping into MRT to City Hall.
The Formula One practice begins at 7pm. Daddy & Mummy tickets are for the Bay Grandstand. Its a long long walk from the City Hall MRT. Along the way, Daddy & Mummy saw that people are selling the Fri tickets at $125 each. Wow.....their free tickets are worth $250.
There's lotsa of make-shift stalls selling beers, food, souvenirs etc around the circuit. Daddy & Mummy didnt buy anything, they just walked all the way to their seat. At 7pm, the first racing car zoom out and passed the place that Daddy & Mummy were sitting. Mummy says its very very loud and too bad, they forget to get ear plugs. When Mummy is taking pictures, there's no way to close her ears with her hands and the noise is really too loud for her liking. Same for Daddy......after watching for about 20mins, they decided to leave. The noise is too unbearable.
Daddy says its definitely better to watch from home. Luckily, Channel 5 will be showing the live telecast of the final race on Sunday at 8pm. After squeezing through the crowds, Daddy & Mummy made their way back to Raffles City for dinner before heading to Kovan to take the car and go home.
Conclusion....Daddy & Mummy will never buy tickets to watch F1, even if its free, they will either sell or give them away. Definitely better to watch from home.

Wedding Dinner - Novetel Clarke Quay

I am going to attend a wedding dinner with Mummy tonite. Its Mummy's ex-church friend - Uncle Jiahao. Mummy left office early and came home to bath and dress up. At 7pm, we hit the road. Thanks God, no traffic jam and we reached Novetel Clarke Quay at 7.40pm. Dinner didnt start until 8.30pm. Luckily, Mummy bought me some mini donuts to eat, or else I will be so so hungry.

Mummy had great time meeting up with her friends from Emmanuel BP, while I had fun just having yummy food and playing with meimei Sarah (Uncle Kevin and Aunty Annie's daughter) and didi Zachary (Uncle Ben and Aunty Grace's son).

Hope we can meet up again soon.

House-Warming BBQ Party @ The Lilydale

Cousin Xavia moved from Bullion Park to The Lilydale almost few months liao. But Paepae and Aunty Cheryl dun hve time, so only today is the house-warming party. We will be having BBQ, so all of us can have fun taking lantern around the pool too. But, it was raining when we arrived at 5pm. But Thank God, rain stopped at 7pm and BBQ begins. Then its time to light our lanterns and play. I had so much fun playing with all my cousins and only leave for home at 11pm.

KPE Tunnel Walk

Mummy woke me up early from the beauty sleep cos....we are all going for the KPE Tunnel Walk. But Tutti jiejie is not joining us cos Mummy gave her half a day off to meet her friend and get some stuff to bring back home.
Daddy drove the car to Kovan Centre cos there's a free shuttle bus which will bring us to the event ground. After waiting for a few buses, we finally reached at 9am. But, there's still a long walk before reaching the tunnel.

Check out below! Its the free lanterns that are given for the Tunnel Walk. LTA will dim the lights in the tunnel so we can have a early lantern festival celebration. But, by the time we reached into the tunnel, all the people have already walked quite far......

So, meimei and me just lingered around the start of the walk to take some pictures......memorable pics cos after today, there will be no more chance to have people walking in the tunnel. On 20th Sep at 10am, KPE will be fully opened.

After taking some pictures, we cut through the emergency exit and U-turn back to the bus pickup point. Look!, Meimei having fun posing photos for Mummy....hehe.

We boarded the free shuttle just before the crowd returns. Phew! We reached back to Kovan Bus Terminal at 10.45am and headed to Macdonald for breakfast.

Lantern Festival @ Vivocity

After swimming lesson today, all of us head to Vivocity for dinner. Aunty Kelly had suggested to play lantern together but up till now, Mummy and Daddy havent buy for me and meimei yet. So, we quickly had our dinner.....hmm, actually its just Daddy, Mummy, Tutti jiejie and meimei. I was fast asleep. While the rest head to the open area near Republic Plaza, Daddy and Mummy quickly head to Giant to buy lanterns but nothing looks nice.
So, instead of wasting time looking for lanterns, we quickly went upstairs to look for the rest.....and here's the fun all of us have.....no lanterns, just taking photos....hehe.

After the photo-session, everyone headed home. We got Tutti jiejie to help us take a family photo before heading home too.

Hmm, but before that, meimei got to change her diaper. Here's Mummy and me posing some funny shots in the changing room.

Then, meimei saw her reflection in the mirror and pose some cute pose too....Kawaii...
