CNY Visit @ Aunty Pearly's place

Its 初六 and we are heading to Aunty Pearly's place to 拜年 as well as for lunch. Aunty Zaen cooked up a feast of Rendang lunch, chicken wings, nuggets, fries for all. There's also Aunty Jo's 2 nephews ~ Johann and Jayden, Uncle YZ's 3 kids ~ Dawn, Dior and Deon. We ride bicycles, the boys played swords, catch ants....we had so much fun and left only at 4pm for Great GodMaMa's place.

Friends from Aussie

Mummy is not working today and she invited Aunty Jodie, Uncle MS and Leanne 妹妹 & Gerald 弟弟 over to play. Aunty Jodie just came back from Sydney but will be back in Singapore for 6 months. Mummy went to fetch them after dropping us back home from school. I shared my toys with her and Leanne 妹妹 especially like my Hi-5 DVDs. She was already so tired but refused to close her eyes for nap. They stayed till 5plus then headed home. Mummy didnt have chance to fetch them back cos Daddy is booking out. So happy, Daddy can come back every night this week....Yipee!

In Camp Training (ICT)

I learned a new term today....ICT. It stands for In Camp Training. Daddy left for his Camp at 7am while I am still deep asleep. His ICT is from 28 Jan to 6 Feb, but hopefully he can come home every night. I gonna miss him.

Lunar New Year 初二

For 2nd day of Lunar New Year, we are visiting Granduncle's Calvin. Grandaunty Yolande will be cooking up a Sukiyaki lunch for us. Yummy! We stayed and played with Aunty Janna & Grace till almost 4pm before heading home for our nap.

Daddy will be going for his reservist tomorrow and he havent even packed his barang barangs yet.....so we decided to stay home and not head out liao. Got to start counting my angpows too.

Happy Lunar New Year

Good morning everyone, its 1st day of the Lunar New Year. Gong Xi...Gong Xi! Last night, 妹妹 & I wore our new Little Einstein's pyjamas which Mummy bought from www.disneyshopping.com . Nice or not?? We woke up rather early cos we got to reach MaMa's place to 拜年at 9am.

After our milk and freshen up, we are in our new outfit.....pretty or not? Me in my pretty red and 妹妹 in her sweet pink. Tell you something, Mummy also got the same outfit design as us. Check out the photo below. After everyone got changed, we then headed to GuGu's place.

We were the 1st to arrive. Megan 姐姐was also in her pretty CNY outfit and I took the chance to snap some pictures with her. Then Xavia, 伯伯 & Aunty Cheryl arrived too. And so coincidentally, Mummy, 姑姑 & Aunty Cheryl are all dressed in red. Its really the prosperous color for our family this year....so more photos!!

After 姑姑's place, we headed to big big公公's place for our 1st vegetarian meal for the year. 公公 will cooked up a simple feast of vegetarian dishes and we will all eat our breakfast at his place, 拜年 before heading to the next stop ~ Great Grandma's place.

After lunch at Great Grandma's place, we headed to 小老舅's place before heading home for a short nap. Last stop for the day is small small 公公's place which is juz downstairs cos everyone from Mummy's side of relatives will be gathering there for fun and laughter. Wishing all a GOOD PEACEFUL and HAPPY OX YEAR AHEAD!

Reunion Dinner @ Home

Yesterday we had our reunion dinner with MaMa & GongGong, today will be our own reunion dinner with small small GongGong, Yiyi, Uncle Mark at our place. Tutti jiejie helped to prepare the stock and we had a yummylicious early dinner at 3pm. Then Mummy brought small small GongGong and Titi jiejie to Grandaunty Doris's house for his 2nd round of reunion dinner.

We rested at home till 7pm before heading to Grandaunty Doris's house for Yu sheng. We stayed for a short while then headed home. Once home, Mummy & Yiyi headed to Chinatown to feel the Chinese New Year mood. Daddy always hate the crowded place, so we stayed at home with him. Hope Mummy & Yiyi grab some good buys back. Tonite, we gonna be sending off Mr Rat and welcoming Mr Ox.

Reunion Dinner @ Lilydale

We are all dressed up in our new top from Disneyshopping.com and heading to Pepe's house for Reunion Dinner, eve of CNY eve. Usually, we will eat at big big GongGong's house but for this year, PePe is giving GongGong a break and will cook up a feast himself. We will be having 2 kinds of steamboat....tom yum and chicken flavor. MaMa also cooked up a pot of shark fins soup, yummy!! But before we start our dinner, its YU SHENG time......Huat AH!!!

After dinner, we stayed on and played with Xavia while the adults chit-chat before we headed home at 10pm.

Chinese Medicine - TCM

My fever is still here after 5 days and it refused to "go home". After eating Iburofen & Paracetomol, my fever still lingers in between 37.1 to 37.5. Seeing that the western med doesnt seem to work on me, Mummy suggested to Daddy that I go to YU GUO to get it checked. After work, Mummy rushed home to pick me up, then to Daddy's work place then to YU GUO at Jalan Masjid. The Chinese Sinseh - Xu Yi Shi told Mummy that for such a long period of fever, its bad for my little body, says it likely to be MOHTAN. She says she will prescribe chinese liquid med and some powder to mix together. She says the med will be very awful but she guaranteed that the fever will be gone. She also kept reminding Mummy that the orange western med (Iburofen) is really no good for the kids. Paracetomol is still ok but try not to give the orange med at all.

I have never eaten Chinese medicine......dunnoe how I can stand it!! Once home, Mummy prepared the conconction and then start to psycho me to drink. Mummy says I am a big girl, dun want to use force on me to drink med. She kept telling me which friends of mine drink Chinese med lah......and since they can do it, I can too. Mummy also gave me sweets to suck in between each sip of the med and after 20mins of coaxing, I finally finished 10ml of awful, yucky medicine. But I got to drink until Sunday morning, then visit Xu Yi Shi again to ensure that I am alrite.

High Fever (again)

The fever bug came to hunt me again......this time round, it was a new record high.

I was well in the morning, juz lazing at home the whole afternoon cos we had a very late night yesterday for the wedding. But during the evening, when we headed to Punggol Plaza for Suki Sushi, I kept complaining that I am feeling cold. So everyone quickly finished off their dinner and we headed home. Once back home, Daddy took my temperature and it was starting to be hot liao....39 degree. 1st medicine was given and I went to rest....but at 10pm, my body kept shivering and was looking bluish. Daddy & Mummy then rushed me to KKH. The previous time when I had high fever + shivering, doctor told Mummy that they can warm me up until I stopped shivering.....and at one stage, I was so "piping hot"....my temperature was 41.2 degree.....new record!! It got Daddy & Mummy so worried but after staying in the hospital for almost 3hrs and being administered with 2 kinds of med, I finally can go home with temp of 38.5 degree. Doctor says that I have caught a virus infection and was given 5 days MC.

Daddy & Mummy believed that I must have caught cold while playing in the trampolin last night. Imagine jumping and perspiring, the pores open and then the cold sea breeze.....brrrrrrrr cold!! And worst, I was wearing sleeveless flowergirl dress. So kenna big time! Ok, got to drink med and rest......talk to you again when I am feeling better.

A Very Busy Day.....

Today is PePe & Aunty Cheryl's wedding in Singapore and we gonna be very busy from day to night. For the morning, we got to reach PePe's place at Lilydale by 8.15am cos Daddy got to do some co-ordination work and tea ceremony is scheduled to start at 9am. Mummy woke up earlier than us and headed to Aunty Dawn's place cos she is helping Mummy to make-up. We then went to pick Mummy up at 8am and headed down. PePe and Aunty Cheryl arrived to the house only at 9am and we started to take pictures with her...then Tea Ceremony begins. Meimei & I both served them tea and was given angpow each. So fun.

Then we adjourned to the clubhouse downstairs for the buffet plus mini birthday celebraton for Lau-Ma. By the way, Daddy made the birthday cake for Lau-Ma, is Peach Cheesecake and Oreo Cheesecake. Everyone loves it. Lau Yi even joked that Daddy can open cake shop liao.

After the buffet and morning celebration, we all headed home for an afternoon nap. We were all very tired and fell asleep without Mummy screaming at us to sleep. For Mummy, she got no chance to take a nap cos at 3.30pm, she has a professional make-up artist who will be helping her to "paint" her face and style her hair. By 5pm, we were all ready and headed for the road. The dinner is at Raffles Marina @ Tuas, so its wl be a long long drive. PePe passed his car to Daddy to drive so big big GongGong, Xavia, Vina jiejie and me took PePe's car. while Mummy, Yiyi, Uncle Mark, Tutti jiejie and meimei took Daddy's car.

We reached at 6pm sharp and was greeted by a very beautiful setup. And thank GOD, the weather was good. Mummy then got me, meimei, Xavia and Dylan gorgor to rehearse the march-in, but either I am not co-operative or meimei refused to hold the flower basket. It was really chaotic but then guest started to flow in, so we stopped our rehearsel.

I walked around the reception table and noticed the greeting book. Mummy then got me to write some words but I ended up writing my name on the book. Hee!

At 8pm, the wedding ceremony begins. Meimei refused to walk, so Mummy got Tutti jiejie to bring her away, so left me, Xavia and Dylan gorgor. And with Megan jiejie's suggestion, I walked in front while the 2 guys will walked together. Good idea hor. I did very well and Mummy praised me for my effort. Looks like Yiyi's wedding this August - no problem liao. I really enjoy tossing the flower petals out of the basket.

The dinner is buffet style but becos we are seated at the VIP table, we were being served our dishes. There's salad, soup with bread, seafood spread and dessert. I enjoy the soup the most as well as the fruits. Then its off to running around the area with my cousins. Mummy & Daddy then took the chance to snap more picture together,

We spotted a very big trampolin at the corner of the yard and had such a great time jumping in it.

By 11pm, the dinner has ended and slowly all the guests have left. We also started to make our way home. But before that, a family photo.

Wishing both Pepe and Aunty Cheryl - Happy Marriage & Ever lasting love. Next year, let us have a baby to play, ok??

Back to School...

After missing school on 2nd Jan, its back to school today......This year, I will be in K1. My class is FAITHLAND 1 and my form teacher is Mrs Gladys Chan. I am so looking forward to school everyday. Meimei is in the same school as me. She is in GRACELAND 1. For the 1st 3 days of Orientation, Mummy or Daddy can still sit in class with meimei so she is still ok, no crying or screaming. But after that, I wonder how is meimei going to adjust.

Stella's 1st Birthday

We are invited to Stella meimei's 1st birthday party at My Gym @ UE Square. Its the same venue as Krista's birthday party in Oct last year so we roughly know where is it....but hor, we still arrive late. Hee. Last night, we came home very late cos we reached Senai airport only at 11.45pm, then still got to travel back to Singapore. Its almost 2am before we reached home. So we were all tired and lazy to get out of house. Once we reached there, we met a lot of our friends like Faye, Quinn whom we didnt meet for a long time. Its a good catching up. We have lotsa fun in the Gym too, playing bubbles, air balls, slide, steps etc.

A Short Holiday to Penang

Daddy & I were away to Penang to attend PePe & Aunty Cheryl's wedding. We caught the budget airline - Air Asia and it cost SGD 145 each (return) via Senai. PePe arranged a MPV pick up service for us and it cost only $60 from anyway in Singapore to Senai airport. Its worked out to be $12 per person...worth it hor. After we reached Penang, PePe came to pick us up to the hotel and then we spend most of the time in the hotel to prepare for the wedding. For the next day, we explored around Penang and even get to visit Nyonya Museum...check out the photos Daddy & I took.

1st day of School.....2009

Today is the 1st day of school.....but I will not be going to school, instead I am catching a plane this morning to Penang with Daddy, MaMa, GongGong and Lau Gu. PePe is getting married with Aunty Cheryl today and we are all going there to attend the wedding. I will be back with more photos of Penang when I am back on Sunday.
