Aidan's 6th Year Old Party

We are invited to celebrate Aidan's 6th Year Old Party at Build-A-Bear in Suntec City today. Party starts at 1pm and we reached there right on time. We were given a name tag each and while waiting for Keith to arrive, the jiejie led us to play a "Fruit Game". Then, we selected our own bear. I chose the lighter coloured one while meimei chose the chocolate one. Then, we are tasked to name our bear. I named her "Banana".

Then, we proceeded to play a game of treasure hunt. The girls formed a group and the boys formed another group and we are to find our missing jigsaw puzzles. Then, we got to piece them together. Then, we proceeded to stuff and stitch the bear. But, before that, we got to give our bear a heart and we said a little prayer.

Finally, our bears are created. And the jiejie got all of us to raise our right hand and repeat after her, saying that we got to take care of the bear and that we will love and not discard them. I am so gonna love you, teddy bear - banana!

Then, we headed to the party room at the 3rd floor where we have food, cake, balloons and party favors. But we didnt stay too long cos' meimei & Irvin have to rush for their piano lesson at 4pm. Thank you, Aidan for inviting us. Hope you like your gift.

Disney on Ice 2010

Mummy took half day leave again and this time round, she is bringing us to watch Disney on Ice at Singapore Indoor Stadium with Aunty Mel, Athena & Irvin as well as Aunty KC, RY & RX. We arrived early and Mummy let us buy some souvenirs. Butnothing fancy me so I chose popcorn instead which cost $6. Meimei chose a magic wand that costs $23.

The show lasted for 2 hrs with a 15mins interval. I enjoy the show a lot and like how the characters ice-skated in the rink. I told Mummy I want to come back and watch again (hee).

After the show, Daddy came to meet us up and we headed to Suntec with the rest for dinner. We settled for Fish & Co andafter getting a long table for 5 adults & 6 kids, we were being served our drinks......Look how thirsty all of us are.....

Both meimei & I ordered the children spaghetti set each. After dinner, we headed to Carrefour for our grocery shopping and then its home sweet home.

Shabu Shabu Dinner

Granduncle Calvin bought some nice sliced beef from Japan and invited us over for dinner. Daddy bought 2 bottles of sake to complement the dinner. Yiyi & Uncle Mark were also invited and they bought some snacks for tea.
We started our dinner early at 5.30pm and check out the photos below on the spread of Japanese food. Instead of rice, we are having noodles and it goes really well with this special receipe sauce which Mummy is learning. With the wagyu sliced beef, its just perfect.

After dinner, we went to Aunty Janna & Aunty Grace room to play. And at about 9.30pm, we headed home.
Thank you, Granduncle Calvin & Grandaunty Yolande for the nice dinner.

Durian Party

After the hearty brunch and nice nap in the afternoon, for dinner, we headed to PePe's house but before that, we went down to 717 near Kovan Centre to get some durians for everyone....hmm, not really everyone, cos big big GongGong n meimei dun fancy this ugly but yummy fruit. For me, I really enjoy it a lot....hehe.
Saturday Brunch
There is no lesson today being the term break for March school holiday, so in order not to waste the time sleeping the Saturday away, Daddy drove us down to the Quayside (near Robertson Quay) for our Saturday Brunch. Grandaunty Yolande mentioned there was a restaurant called Simply Bread that served nice breakfast but we walked up and down the stretch of restaurant but we cldnt find one. In the end, we decide on this really crowded one called Cafe Epicurious(crowded means good, right?).
Both daddy & mummy ordered a set of "Full Monty" which has 3 fried eggs, 3 bacons, 3 sausages, 3 slice of buttered toasted bread, baked beans, grilled mushroom & tomatoes, orange juice and tea/coffee and shared with meimei. I ordered a Chocolate Banana/Strawberry Sandwich and Yiyi ordered a set of cheesy egg breakfast set too.
After a hearty breakfast, we drove back home for a nice afternoon nap.

An afternoon at East Coast Park

Mummy took half day leave today and brought us down to Polliwogs for an afternoon of fun. It wont be fun if it is just meimei & me, so Mummy "chio" our other friends - RY, RX, Athena & Irvin. We went to pick up Aunty Mel, Athena & Irvin at 2.30pm and meet up with Aunty KC, RY & RX at Polliwogs at 3pm. Then while the adults find their cosy corner to chit chat, we entertained ourselves with the swings, slides and balls. But too bad, the outdoor bouncycastle is down for repair (again).

We played till about 6pm and headed to the beach. This time round, Mummy is smart, she changed meimei & I to our swimsuits so it will be easier to clean us up after the sand-playing. We shared our sandtoys with our friends and played till almost 7.30pm and headed to Waraku for dinner.
