Esther & Me.....

Its term break for Ros Schoolhouse, so after Aunty Steph's class, we headed home. And Mummy invited Aunty HY and Esther over for a mini-playdate. We had Yong-Tau-Foo for lunch and watched Dora The Explorer. I also lend Esther one of my Dora VCD home. So glad to find another friend that enjoy Dora just like me and meimei.

Practice Time.......

Now that I have a piano at home, Mummy is getting me to practice Aunty Steph's homework every night. Alrite, got to get back to practice, dun disturb me!

My Very Own Used Piano ~ Pearl River

I have not been practising well with the cheapo electronic piano that I have, so Mummy decided to buy me a used piano so I can practice. So off she goes with her hunt.

Thanks to Aunty Mel who found a lot of links for Mummy and Aunty Pearly who has been running around with Mummy to check out the piano. Today, the piano finally arrived early in the morning at 9am.

Mummy got this from a dealer - Jesley Piano and this Uncle Lim was really nice to explain to Mummy and Aunty Pearly how to choose a good and original piano. It was really a enriching class for them. Hehe. So, its serious practice now for me....

An Afternoon in Kovan & Bishan

There is no swimming lesson today, so Daddy & Mummy decide to laze at home till brunch before heading out for food. Dun noe where to go, we ended up in Kovan and have our simple lunch of fishball noodles. Then we stroll around Heartland Mall, before heading to Bishan Library to read some books.

Mummy took the chance to head to a hair-salon for her haircut and hair treatment. For dinner, we head to Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 Hawker Centre for the famous Hokkien Mee and chicken rice.

Then is home for an early night cos its SCHOOL REOPEN tomorrow. Boohoo.....

"Closing Ceremony" @ Bullion Park.......

Uncle Jason has sold off his Bullion Park and will be shifting to a new condo by 1st week of July, so today, he gathered everyone to his place for swim, BBQ and fun.....for the closing ceremony. Hehe.

We reached at 4+ and quickly head for the pool. Megan jiejie, Jared & Dylan gorgor, Harrison gugu, Gibson and Wil gugu are all in the pool swimming liao. We swim for about 45mins before heading back for a bath, cos we are gonna start the BBQ session soon.

While Tutti jiejie, 2 Siti jiejies and Vina jiejie get busy with the setting of fire and BBQing of food, we, kids run around playing bubbles, climbing bars etc. It was fun.

For this BBQ, Daddy decides to prepare the "Salmon in Newspaper", receipe of Uncle Jaime Oliver. Here's Daddy checking out the Salmon after BBQ for a while. Hmmm, how is it?? I will say Daddy got the wrong newspaper. He should have gotten The London papers....hehehe. The aroma from the fish was really good, the seasoning done by Daddy was perfect but the fish was only 80% cooked. So with Gugu's suggestion, Daddy took the whole fish out from the newspaper and BBQ for a while more and it was PERFECT! The whole fish was finished....Delicisouso.....

After BBQ, all of us head back to the house, Daddy & Mummy bathed us again and changed us to our pyjamas. We then gathered around to play "Heart Attack" & other card games. Look below, here's what we get for penalty, powder on the face....it was so funny....At 11+, all of us headed home. Last time at Bullion Park!!

Busy day.....

Mummy needs to go back to work tomorrow liao, so to make full use of her break. We are heading to Indonesia Embassy to renew Tutti jiejie's passport. Mummy remembered that the submission of passport has to be before 12noon, so by 9am, we are changed and out of house.

We headed to Orchard Towers for the photo-taking but was only told that now, all can be done at Indonesia Embassy. Mummy then quickly hurried us to a cab and off we go. By the time we reached there, the queue number was at 77 and the number Mummy got was 125. Gosh, it will be a long wait but thankfully, a nice gentleman offered us his number 89. And at 12.30pm, we done most of the paperworks and out of Indonesia Embassy.

Next stop is to Central Shopping Centre for the lawyer's preparation of contract. Again, that was done very fast. But it was raining very heavy when we left the building but luckily, it was sheltered and we managed to catch a bus to The Central for BK lunch. Then its home sweet home via MRT.

PS : Its a tiring day for everyone but I know Mummy saved a lot renewing Tutti's jiejie passport herself.

Mummy was not working from last Friday 13th June to today, Wednesday 18th June. Before she went on the break, she told me that she wants to make sure that she made full use of the 4 days. I believe she did......here's the list of what she had done.....

13th June (Friday)

- Spend a full-day with Aunty Pearly, Matthew & John at their place and club

- Father's Day celebration with small small gonggong at Thomson Plaza

16th June (Monday)

- Had lunch with Aunty Wendy and Aunty Dawn from 12.30pm to 5pm

- Had her long-needed massage session

17th June (Tuesday)

- Brought Shaynnen meimei out for MRT, bus, taxi ride to Concorde Shopping Centre to collect the lucky draw prize, while I had my holiday class at Punggol Plaza

- Went out with Daddy alone for a dinner date at Greenwood Ave. The Fish market was having their oysters @ $1 each. (Total damage for Mummy: $164.65 for 2 mains, 18 oysters, 1 side of clams & 1 bottle of white wine.)

18th June (Wednesday)
- Brought Tutti jiejie to Indonesia Embassy @ Chatsworth Rd to renew her passport. (Total damage: $40 renewal fee, $10 photo, $1 photocopy of doc, $100 lawyer fee = $$151).
- Head to The Central for BK lunch

I am looking forward to Mummy's next long break.......

Chocolate Bribe.....

Daddy & Mummy going for a date tonite to Greenwood Ave for dinner. Heard that they are going to the Fish Marketplace cos tonite, Tuesday night is Oyster for $1 night. Yummlicious..

They went out for almost 2hrs before returning home with our bribes. Its chocolate "lollipop". Nice!!

Hope Daddy & Mummy go out more often so we get more of such sweet treats.

Punggol Plaza (again)

Mummy promised to get me a new series of Dora The Explorer DVD. Daddy remembered that the CD shop in Punggol Plaza sells them. So, after dinner, we are going to Punggol Plaza (again). Remember the ball stall I mentioned......its still around.

Meimei saw the stall, kept saying "I want to play, I want to play". So, Daddy spent $10 to buy 3 bucket of balls for us. I tell you huh, meimei can play just as well as me leh, and come to tik of it, she is not even 2 years old yet. Hehe.

A Different Saturday......

There's no swimming lesson today.....Darryl korkor is involved in this year NDP and every sat, he will have to go for rehearsel. Daddy & Mummy the most happy, no need to rush here and there on sat. But we cant be stopping class for so many weeks, so Darryl korkor will be giving us lesson from his home pool and it will be every Sunday evening.

With no swimming lesson, Mummy arranged pedicure session for herself and Daddy brought me and meimei over to Punggol Plaza to play ball game and have kiddy ride. And look what I won, an inflated guitar. Nice or not.

After PP, we went back home and Mummy brought me to ride my bicycle while Daddy prepared dinner. He will be cooking his specialty spaghetti. Yummy!

Happy Daddy's Day......

Tomorrow is a special day for all daddies.....and Aunty Ros is teaching us to do a little cupcake with colorful sprinkles for our daddies. I am making one for Daddy and hope he enjoys it.

A day with Matthew & John.....

Mummy is not working today and we are heading to Aunty Pearly's place for a day of fun. After I woke up, bathed and changed, Aunty Pearly was already at my block waiting to pick us up. Mummy and Tutti jiejie quickly packed our bag and off we go.

Once we reached Aunty Pearly's house, off we go to ride the bicycles. Then at 11.30am, the sun started to get too hot for our liking, so Mummy and Aunty Pearly scooped us to the 2nd floor to play with the toys. When lunch (porridge) was ready for John and meimei, both of them went down to the dining area, left Matthew and me. Aunty Pearly then did a few rounds of flash cards with us. It was fun. I learned a lot of new thing.....like the different kind of flags, the famous people, sight words. Then, lunch was ready for all.

After lunch and a few cycling around the car porch, its time for nap. Mummy and Aunty Pearly told us that if we dun nap, there will be no swimming later. Both of us keep quiet and try to fall asleep. Mummy and Aunty Pearly see that we are closing our eyes, then left us for Thomson Plaza for some errands. But the thing is I cant get to sleep, cos I woke up at 10am but Matthew fell asleep. At 3.15pm, Mummy and Aunty Pearly returned back and meimei and I are already changed to our swimsuits. Matthew also just woke up and is changed to his swimwear, then off we go to Aunty Pearly's club along Thomson Road. John, meimei and I swam and splash at the waddling pool while we wait for Matthew who is having his swim lesson from 4pm to 4.45pm,

At 5plus, all of us got up and changed and shared 2 packets of Twister before heading home. It so good when Mummy do not need to work. I have so much more good times with my friends. Mummy says she will be going back to work only on Thursday, Yipee!! Looking forward to more activities on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday......

Going to LSBC.....Young Arrows

Daddy left on an early morning flight to Sydney today. He will be away till Wednesday.....I gonna miss him!

Well, Mummy & I woke up early today, doll ourselves up......guess where are we going? Yupe, as promised to Mrs Ang & Mrs Toh, I am going to Young Arrows at LSBC ...... Living Santuary Brethren Church. Mummy is going back to church after a long long break too. The late morning service starts at 11.15am and Young Arrows (Sunday School) starts at the same time too. And best of all, I will get to meet my ex-classmate - Kristal.

Meimei still not feeling at her best, so she will be at home with Tutti jiejie.

Barney's Let's Imagine Live!

Yipee! We are going to watch Barney again today.......After passing Daddy the car, we took the train down to Dhoby Ghaut before changing to Bus 36 to Suntec Convention Hall.

We arrived at 3.10pm and headed for my toilet break before meeting up with all my friends - Matthew, John, Athena, Irvin, Gabriel and Edward

At 3.30pm, the show begin!! And the first song they played was my favourite "If you are Happy and You know it". Shaynnen meimei enjoyed the song a lot too and was rocking to and fro to the music...hehe

After about 35mins of song and dancing, the show stopped for a session break ~ toilet break. Aunty Jen whom we bumped at the entrance, popped over and passed Mummy some chocolate pokki for us to share. Thank you Aunty Jen.

Then the show begin again.....but just when it was about to end, meimei fell asleep and me, feeling grouchy insists to go right in front of the stage to say good bye to Barney and started bursting into tears when I cannot get up close to Barney. For Mummy, I tik she was bursting into cold sweat cos she was carrying meimei with 1 hand and supporting me with the other. Luckily, I co-operate by not insisting that she carried me.....or else that will be 27kg at one go for my small mummy....hehe

After the show, all of us except Athena & Irvin, we headed to Macdonalds. Mummy & Aunty Pearly ordered 45pcs of chicken nuggets, large fries, coke, ice-lemon tea and ice-milo for all of us to share. Yummy.....then at 6plus, Daddy reached Suntec to join us for dinner.

Meet & Greet with Barney

Barney's Let's Imagine Live! Is in town at Suntec Convention Hall from 5-8 Jun 2008. Mummy has bought tickets for the show tomorrow but today, Daddy is bringing us to Suntec because we won the chance to Meet & Greet Barney. I am so happy to be so up close with Barney......I noe Meimei too.
