To the Airport with Gabriel...


After lesson at Aunty Ros', we went to Aunty Kelly's place cos there is an introduction on the ICL programme which Aunty Kelly will be teaching from April onwards. While the adults get busy, Gabriel & I had fun posing and taking pix together. Best of all, both of us actually wore same colour outfit....we never "ba-gat"! Serious!

After the introduction of the ICL programme and Daddy helped Uncle Ben to ferry the furniture from Ikea, we headed to Changi Airport T2 Staff Canteen for dinner together in Daddy's car. After makan, Gabriel & I had a swing of our time at the departure hall (check out our video below) before going to MacDonald for ice-cream.

End of 1st Term @ Ros SchoolHouse

Today is the last lesson for the 1st term and we got to recite the "Memory Train". Daddy & Mummy have been practicing with me at home...but dun noe why, in front of Aunty Ros and my classmates....I just refused to open my golden mouth...hehee. Well, we learnt the word "F" today and got to do Truffle. Looking forward to my next term.

2nd week of School

For this week, Mummy gotten 1 hour time-off from Tues to Fri from her boss and she will be bringing me to school everyday. During the bus-ride, I will still be so excited....but once we reached the school premises, I will start to cry and insist that Mummy carry me. But Mummy always very "heng-xin", just pass me to the teachers and walked away with me still screaming at the TOP of my LUNGS. Mrs Low will always pick me up when she see me crying and carried me till we go into the classroom.

But hor, I tell you day after day, I am more receptive going to school liao. No doubt I will still cry when Mummy leaves me for work but I am ok when I mingle with my classmates. On Friday, lagi best......I still cry a little bit but I actually tell Mummy to let me carry my own schoolbag when we reached the entrance of the hall. I noe Mummy cant join me in the class, so I carry the bag and walked towards my classmates and dun even turn my head to look at Mummy. And during singing session, I even do the action with the teachers. I am going to enjoy school!

I love Coffee.....

Well, after eating the yucky medicine for 3 days and staying at home (no school) for 3 days.....I am finally feeling better and Daddy & Mummy decide to head to Raffles City Shopping Centre for shopping after my class at Ros SchoolHouse.

Daddy was craving for some coffee and cakes, so we settled down at Gloria Jeans. And guess what I drink....if you guess ICE MOCHA, you are right! I really love coffee, be it HOT or COLD kind, I wl demand from Daddy or Mummy and simply refused to return back to them after the first sip.

I am Sick!!

I woke up today, feeling warm and have no appetite for breakfast. While I was watching Barney in the living room, I threw out all my milk. Mummy took my temperature and says I am running a fever. We quickly took a cab to Dr Lee's clinic. While waiting for my turn, I threw out again.....this time is on myself & Mummy! Yucks! Smelly!

Luckily, Mummy brought an extra set of clothes for me, but in a hurry....she forgot to bring hers. But hor, the clinic nurse was nice enough to give her a T-shirt to change and even tell Mummy not need to return leh. After seeing Dr Lee, she says that I am having .... STOMACH FLU. She give me some medicine to stop the vomitting, cough mixture for my cough, stronger fever med and tell me to stay at home for 2 days...no school for me. So, I am given MC for 2 days!!

2nd Day @ School.....a Crying Day

Daddy & Mummy brought me to school today....oh yes and GongGong too. During assembly, I was still fine, looking at the teachers singing and doing action. But when we are heading to the classroom, Daddy, Mummy & GongGong didnt follow, I got scared and started crying....."AH DI, AH MI". But they didnt come to my rescue....end up, a teacher got to carry me to the classroom.

Once into the classroom, I was still crying......and I tell you, I was really crying badly. Then all of a sudden, Mummy appeared in front of me. I held her hands tightly, refused to let her go....I even insist to sit on her lap and play the toys but she refused.....umph! Then, Mummy said she wants to go to the toilet.....then I started crying again. No choice, Mummy sticked with me until all of us gathered together to go to the music classroom at 2nd floor. But hor, once we entered into the lift, Mummy disappeared again!! Then how.....I started crying again loh, hoping Mummy will come to my rescue, but dun have leh. But the music lesson was fun, so I was ok.

Half an hour later, the music class ended and we head back to our classroom to take our bag, waterbottle.....seeing Mummy not there, I started crying again, end up a teacher got to carry me to the hall. Thankfully, Daddy Mummy & Ah Gong were there to collect me after class.

You ask me if I want to school.....I wl say "NO...NO"

19 March - The Day Daddy & Mummy will always remember....

Today is my 1st day of school in Living Sanctuary. Daddy & Mummy both took leave to bring me to school. Do I look nice in my uniform?

My class is from 3-5pm and we have to gather at the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) at 2.30pm. Look I am still so happy posing at the camera until I saw more and more unfamiliar faces stepping into the room.

Then, a teacher marked our attendance and handed me a pass with my name, class and form teacher on it. And all of us gathering together for songs - my favourite activity. I was happily dancing and doing action with the teachers.

After singing and saying prayers, we headed to our classroom - Praiseland.

We have toys to play with, porridge to eat, story-telling session, art & craft and toilet-time.

I didnt cry at all during the whole 1.5hr until I started getting bored and then.....I spotted Daddy & Mummy looking at me from the window. Thats when I started screaming and crying for them. But they didnt come to my "rescue". I continued crying until a teacher carried me and even rocked me to sleep.....hahaha. Luckily, school finished in 15mins.

Prawn catching & BBQ

I met up with Gabriel again.....this time, we are heading to BottleTree Park for prawn fishing. Daddy & Uncle Ben both shared to rent a rod for $14.50 for an hour. And of cos, Gabriel & I must have a go at it first. Look how serious we are, despite the hot sun!

After a few mins, we caught our first prawn. And Uncle Ben helped to unhook the prawn and placed in a basket floating in the water.

To celebrate our catch, each of us have a can of Green Tea to celebrate...."Yum Sheng"

Then, its off to play catching.......while Daddy, Mummy, Uncle Ben took turns to catch more prawns.

Guess how many prawns we caught.....we caught nine (9). Not too bad hor!

Then, both our parents decide to adjourn to Punggol (my house lah) for BBQ and bubble playing......

Uncle Ben brought their electric BBQ pit along and we set it outside Yiyi's house. Daddy also took out the Air-flown NZ beef and lamp shank to share. Yummy!

9th lesson at Ros SchoolHouse

Last week lesson was cancelled, so today is my 9th lesson at Aunty Ros's house. Before the class, Aunty Ros got us to walk, hop and run.....so fun. For class, we learned the alphabet "E" and the number "10". We also get to learn a new word "Metamorphosis" and each of us get to bring home a mealworm.

Dinner @ Suntec

For dinner, we "chio" Uncle Ben, Aunty Kelly, Gabriel & Edward to Suntec City Mall. We had our dinner at the FoodCourt before heading to Carrefour for shopping. Gabriel & I had fun running around and posing photos for Mummy.

T.G.I.F

We eating out today.....and Daddy suggest checking out the new Giant Hypermart @ Tampines. Before that, we headed to their neighbour - Ikea for our dinner. If you think that everyone has headed for Giant and Ikea is empty....WRONG! Its just as crowded and we spent about 15mins just waiting for a place to sit.

After dinner, its time to check out the new hypermart. Its really packed with people but there's lotsa of discount items. A big bottle of Apple Juice costs only $3.69 and 10 Fuji Apples cost only $1.90. Cheap hor....but if you can "tahan" 20-30mins just to pay for your items, then its ok. Anyway, parking there is free and they closed at 12 midnite....

Changi Airport

Mummy still on leave.....so instead of wasting time at home, Mummy brought the whole usual gang to the Airport. We took Bus No 3 to Pasir Ris before changing to Bus No 53. Once we reached to T2, we headed straight to the Staff Canteen at Level 3M for our lunch.

Then to MacDonald for my ice-cream......yummy! After that dose of high-energy food, its time to RUN. We walked, run from one end to the other end......straight to EC House at T2 cos Mummy wants Ah Gong to cut his hair. Then Mummy spotted the salon beside EC House is having promotion....Wash, Cut, Style & Free Hair Treatment for $30 nett, so she decide to "dump" me with the 2 jiejies and Ah Gong while she spent 40mins enjoying herself.

After Mummy is done, it was almost time for dinner. Daddy met us at the Airport and guess where we have our dinner.....if you guess T2 Canteen. You are RIGHT!

Its sure nice that Mummy is on leave......I am gonna be very sad when she goes back to work next Thurs. But for now, I am gonna enjoy my very moment with her.

* Haircut *

Now my fringe shorter.....it feels so much better!

Guess where I am.....

No, I am not in New Zealand or Australia.......I am only at North of Singapore......Daddy brought Mummy & me to Fassler wholesale Store located at Woodlands Terrace to buy their seafood. They sell lotsa of frozen seafood like salmon, clams, codfish, all kinds of soup etc, and they are all stored in a small freezer.....

GongGong will be going away to Chiangmai for a week, so Mummy decide to buy some ingredients/food so we can cook our meals next week. And for today, the class is cancelled cos Joakim gorgor is sick. Hope he gets well soon.

Last day in Phuket

We are going back today. After having our breakfast and packing up all our stuff, we checked out of the hotel at 12pm. Mummy wants to do some last minute shopping before heading to the airport lah. But before that, all of us gathered at the balcony to take a group photo.

Then, the Taxi Uncle whom we booked yesterday came to fetch us again....he brought us back to their Expo @ Phuket Town for shopping. This time round, we have 2 hours to shop and once again, Erna & Tutti jiejie bought the most things. Mummy paid for them first and will deduct from their next month's salary.

At 2pm, the Taxi Uncle came to fetch us to the airport which is a 45mins journey. But when, we reached the airport, it was still early to check-in, so we walked around the airport for about 35mins before the counter opened. Show you how much luggage we have.

After checking-in, obtaining our boarding pass and paying for the departure tax of THB 700 per pax (Shaynnen meimei no need to pay cos she's an infant), we headed to the Burger King for lunch. By the way, their set meal really expensive.....I think Singapore sells only SGD6.40 but theirs cost SGD 8.30. And got to tell all of you, fries in Ketchup tastes really good!!

After finishing our lunch, it was almost time to board the plane liao.....

Bye Bye Phuket........hope to see you in the near future!!

With no entertainment on board this budget plane, I entertained myself with sweets and magazine loh.

I am back!! Home Sweet Home!

2nd day in Phuket

We are heading to the beach today.....but hmm, I dun like the feeling of sand in my toes leh. But Daddy says if we dun go to the beach, this trip wont be complete.....So, Mummy got Tutti jiejie to pack all the swimwear, extra set of clothings and we set off from the hotel at 12pm.

We got the Taxi Uncle to recommend some place for cheap & nice clothings and he brought us to their Expo. The place is not really big, so we told the Taxi Uncle to pick us up in an hour time. But thankfully, the place is air-conditioned cos I was already feeling groggy and fell asleep immediately on Daddy's shoulder. An hour later, I woke up and saw that, Tutti & Erna jiejie bought the most stuff. They looked so happy with their buys.

Then, we headed to Phuket Bay Restaurant under the Taxi Uncle's recommendation for lunch. This place has a little playground....and of cos, I had to have a try on it.

After lunch, next stop is to Patong Beach. Its a 30mins drive from Phuket Town...and we reached there at 3pm but the sun is still sorching hot, so we continue with our shopping in the shops along Patong Beach. But this place has no air-con, so it was really not enjoyable at all......but Daddy, Mummy, Erna, Tutti jiejie, Yiyi & Uncle Mark seems to enjoy themselves cos this place has more cheap & nice clothings.....

At about 5plus, we decide to walk towards the beach......but uhmm, no sand for me, pls!! So, everyone ended up sitting at the beach restaurant for drinks. We rested for a good 45mins, then realise its time for dinner liao. Daddy decide to eat at the same beach restaurant cos it sells seafood too. While waiting for Daddy to order food, Uncle Mark & Yiyi headed to the beach cos Uncle Mark want to play Jetski....

After a yummy seafood dinner, we strolled back to the same spot where the Taxi Uncle alighted us cos we had made arrangement for him to pick us up at 7.30pm. Then I spotted this nice water fountain and of cos, Mummy must get some nice shots of me.....

After heading back to the hotel, Daddy, Mummy & me decide to head to the pool for a swim. Its sure feel good to dip into the pool after the whole afternoon adventure. Too bad, meimei cannot join us cos its too late at night.

After splashing and swimming for about 20mins, we went back to the room....had my bath, watched a few VCDs of my Barney collection, then its zzzzz.
