Outing with Matthew & John

Mummy is not working today and she arranged to meet up with Aunty Pearly to bring us out together. We are going to GoGo Bambini at Damsey Road. This place is a new place to both meimei and me and we are all very excited. Matthew also kept telling me about the purple slide and I cant wait to try on it.

We reached the place at 12.30pm. Yiyi who is on half-day also came to join us. It costs only $15 per kid for unlimited play. Then while Yiyi, Tutik jiejie and Aunty Zaen took care of us, Mummy & Aunty Pearly went to Olio Dome for some drinks. Yiyi brought me up to the purple slide but it was too scary so I only go once...hee, but Matthew was having so much fun that I tik he goes countless times.

After playing for almost 2hours, its break time. We headed to the Cafe area for drinks, fries while Tutik jiejie and Aunty Zaen had their lunch. Then we played for a few more rounds and its home sweet home. We got to rest a while cos tonite we are going to GuGu's place for countdown party.

Boxing Day Celebration

26th Dec is Boxing Day and also a day that we gonna spend in a hotel room. Yiyi got a free hotel stay as her birthday gift but she decided to give it to us instead...cos she knows that both meimei and I enjoy hotel stay a lot. This time round, its gonna be Mandarin Oriental ~ Deluxe Bayview Room.

I was out with Yiyi and Uncle Mark to Suntec City and so we checked in to the hotel first. When we got into the room, I went around all corners of the room comparing with the previous stay we had. I told Yiyi that the previous hotel does not provide apples, this hotel has. Previous hotel is bigger, this hotel room is smaller etc.

Daddy & Mummy dropped us off at Marina Sq Macdonald and then adjourn to Morton's for their date. Mortons having Happy Hour from 5pm to 7pm. Daddy & Mummy have 2 cocktails each and complimentary sandwich before meeting us at Marina Square again .

On our way to dinner, we saw this small booth with some white balls. We can read anything we want on the ball and its free. So Mummy got me a marker and I started to write "Eric, Sharon , Sharwyn, Shaynnen, Tutik, Yiyi, GongGong". Mummy also wrote some stuff. GongGong signed his name. Uncle Mark wrote the wedding date that he is gonna marry Yiyi....1/8/2009. Yupe....something to look forward next year.

We had dinner at a Ramen Shop, near Waraku. Daddy & Mummy had sandwiches earlier so 4 of us shared 1 bowl of noodles together. Then we headed back to our hotel room. But Daddy headed to Gap @ Suntec cos there's 50% sale and he's eyeing on 2 shirts which he needs to get for PePe's wedding next Friday. Tutik jiejie, Suhajiejie and GongGong followed us back to the room to help bath us, before going home in a cab.

Check out the view from our hotel room.....at night. The yellowish balls you see on the riverbank is the white ball that we were writing on this afternoon. There's big flashlight that shined on the balls to make it change colour.

After the hot bath, we got into our comfy pyjamas. Tutik jiejie, Suhajiejie and GongGong then headed home. Daddy is still not back from his shopping, so while Mummy took her bath, meimei and I entertained ourselves by reading our storybooks and Strawberry Shortcake DVD we brought from home. By 11.30pm, we KO.

At 7am, meimei woke up asking for her milk......Mummy got up and prepared and took the chance to take picture of the view from the window. Mummy luv the view a lot and didnt even draw the curtain last night.

By 8.30am, all of us are up and we changed out from our PJs and headed to "Melt - The World Cafe" for our free breakfast. We stayed till 11am before heading back to our room to rest.
Yiyi requested for a late check-out i.e. 2pm for us, so we still have some time to spend in the room.

Mummy sees that the weather is nice and warm, so got us into our swimsuit and we headed to the swimming pool on the 5th floor. But we didnt stay for long cos the afternoon sun is getting too hot and Mummy forgot our sunblock. We then headed back to our room for our little swimming pool aka bath tub.

While Daddy & Mummy took turns to take their bath, meimei & I kept ourselves entertained by watching "Strawberry Shortcake" DVD which we brought from home.

At 2pm, we checked out of the room and headed home. Both meimei & I were so tired, we KO while on the ride home. We really enjoyed our stay a lot and when I woke up, I was telling Daddy....."Let's go for another hotel stay tomorrow". Hehe.

Christmas Day Dinner

After the meet up with Esther, Aidan and Cedric, we headed to Seletar Springs to pick up Granduncle Larry and Grandaunty Doris. Daddy has invited them over for a simple Christmas dinner and mahjong session.

On Christmas Day

Its Christmas Day and we are arranging to meet up with Aidan, Esther and Cedric cos we have yet pass them their Christmas presents (after receiving from them on Sunday). Aunty HY says that they will be at Delta Sports Hall for some structural activity. Since we are heading to Alexandra, Daddy & Mummy decided to have our lunch at Alexandra Village ~ for some yummy duck rice before meeting up with them.

At 3pm, we finally reached to Delta Sports Complex and we found our way to Atlantis City...a very mini version of Explorer Kids. Aidan, Esther and Cedric were the only kids there......so cool. We got the whole place to ourselves. By the way, it cost $3.50 per hour only. Daddy paid for both meimei and me and we are off to play with them. A while later, Keith came too.

At 4pm, all of us stopped playing. I then handed Esther, Cedric and Aidan their Christmas gifts. Hope you like the Christmas gifts.....Ho..Ho Ho....Blessed Christmas, my friends.

I received lotsa of presents this year.......and I am gonna open all of them tonite, before going to sleep. I wanted to play with them immediately but Daddy & Mummy say its too late and insist that I go to bed and play with them only in the morning.....

Here's Yiyi's gift to Daddy and Mummy. Daddy got a WMF knife set and Mummy got a digital photoframe with photos all added. And Daddy got Mummy a Lancome perfume while Mummy got Daddy a very much needed Teva Sandals.

Christmas Eve Dinner

Granduncle Calvin & Grandaunty Yolande inviting us over to their place for Christmas Eve's dinner tonite and Daddy gonna bring his very own Mango Cheesecake over for dessert. This is his 2nd attempt....looks rather ok hor?? Aunty Dawn, pass or not??


We reached Granduncle's place at 7.30pm and was welcomed by a big spread of food like Gingerbread House, Turkey, Smoked Salmon, Curry Chicken, Ngoh Hiang, Fried Beehoon and Mushroom Soup. I enjoyed the Mushroom Soup the most....really yummy and it was Granduncle's own receipe. After dinner, we stayed around and watch Home Alone 3.

At 10pm, all of us gathered together to take a group picture.There's Granduncle's neighbours' daughters, his God-daughter, his niece and nephew, his colleague's sons and of course me and meimei....his grandnieces.

Then, Aunty Janna dressed up in her Santarina's attire and helped distribute the gifts to everyone. Mummy then got me my own small santa hat and I gave the presents to Aunty Janna & Aunty Grace too.

Singapore's 15th Reservoir

Check out my new slippers.....and I am wearing them to a new place called Marina Barrage - Singapore's 15th reservoir. We will be meeting up with Mummy's friends & their family for picnic at 5.30pm.

At the top of the barrage, its really windy.....both meimei & I complaining wind too strong until our hair so messy...hehe

We managed to find a good picnic spot, put them our stuff and then went to take pictures.

For picnic, Daddy prepared chicken mayo sandwich as well as his very first peach cheesecake. There's also beehoon, fishball, chicken nuggets and fruits to share around. Oh yes, Yakult too, thanks to Mummy's friend.

After the food, its more photo taking moments......and running around the big field with my friends.

After that, we adjourn to the 1st floor to play with water......but we didnt played very long cos the sun was setting, the sky getting dark and the weather is windy and cold. Besides, I fell down twice while playing and was very grouchy after that. But, my other friends enjoy themselves a lot......getting all wet from top to toe...hehe. I told Daddy & Mummy that we can arrange to come here again cos I like to play with water.

By 7.30pm, we were out of Marina Barrage and headed to Takashimaya to grab more Xmas pressies.

Christmas Lights @ Orchard

Remember Eneng jiejie, who used to stay at Yiyi's house......she is going back to Jakarta tomorrow. Before she leaves, Mummy suggested to go Orchard Road so Eneng jiejie can take some nice pictures and buy some stuff too. Just nice, Yiyi also wanted to bring Suha jiejie since she havent seen the Orchard lightings too. Yupe...you guess it....all of us (8 adults + 2 kids) squeezed into Daddy's car and off we go to Orchard Road at 9pm.

We parked at Shaw Centre and then walked from CK Tang to Paragon and then back to Shaw Centre. Its quite a short distance but we took 2.5hrs to slowly walk, take pictures, eat ice-cream and squeezing through the crowd......On the way back to the car, I fell asleep. Meimei was still full of energy, running around.....

Xmas Potluck BBQ @ Eastvale

For Christmas celebration this year, we are having it at Athena's place @ Eastvale. Aunty Mel managed to book a BBQ pit and we are expecting 17 adults + 13 kids in all. Quite a big group hor. Daddy will be bringing his own marinated beef as well as corns n sweet potatoes.

The weather has been really bad the whole day and we were really worried that we cant BBQ and may have to adjourn to Aunty Mel's stove instead....hehe. But God has been merciful. It was only drizzling and we managed to BBQ most of the food. We then went up to Athena's place to play her toys while we waited for the adults to finish their dinner.

Then we had gift exchange, Christmas logcake and group photos. It was fun having Christmas with such a big group of friends. Thank you, Uncle K and Aunty M for opening their home for the gathering.
