Mummy & Daddy on leave

Daddy & Mummy took leave today cos we are going to TMC to see my baby sister......no, Mummy not giving birth yet, she is due for her 20 weeks detailed scan. Her appointment at 11.30am and we managed to see the radiologist at 12.15pm and she confirmed that I am having a meimei as a playmate and she is all normal and well. Daddy & me was inside the room with Mummy during the scan......but the picture on the screen all looked black and white. After the scan, we went for lunch at the The Vines before heading back to see Dr Ang for a short review...

Then we are off to Singpost at Eunos to collect Daddy's prize. He won a prize for signing up for Singnet Broadband. And this is what he got....... a 17" LCD TV monitor and Daddy says he will put it in his bedroom and the old one, wl be heading to GongGong's house for me to watch my fav Barney CDs. Yipee......


Then we headed to Cash Converters @ Tampines.....cos Daddy & Mummy wanted to sell away their old PC, Soundworks and camera. But the uncle says they dun take PC that is not Platinum, so we only sell the Soundworks @ $20 and the camera @ $40. Now with the study table gone and PC gone......my room is all ready except the bedsheet....

Next stop was to Dr Leslie Tay's clinic cos I have been having running nose and slight cough but its not improving from the med that Daddy got from the pharmacy. Then, it was home sweet home to watch my fav Barney CD again.....hahahah.

Malacca - 3rd Day

We are checking out of the hotel today. After our usual buffet breakfast, we headed back to the hotel for my bath and less packing up. We left Century Makhota Hotel at 11am and headed to Jonker Street (again) cos Daddy & Mummy wanted to try the famous Chicken Rice Ball.

Then we are off to Singapore. It was a short but nice getaway......

Malacca - 2nd Day

Our complimentary buffet breakfast is served from 7am to 10.30am, so we woke up early at 8am to get ready and was at the makan place at 9am. The buffet breakfast is a so-so only, and I got to have a small share of porridge, bread, eggs and a bowl of cereal (without milk). Then we head back to the room to decide on the agenda. GongGong suggested going to Portugese Settlement but it dun begin its activity till evening, so we headed to Makhota Parade Shopping Mall instead. Daddy & Mummy got me a lot of clothes (top & bottoms) from Reject Shop. Some of the top were selling at only RM 5. Really cheap hor.

Then we headed to Parkson Grand and Daddy mgmed to get himself 4 new casusal shirt and 2 3/4 bottoms. While we were walking to the cashier to make payment, I spotted a huge Barney at the toy section. I quickly ran over and carry it from the shelve. Its really big compared to my size but I just simply to let go of it.

But dun noe how, Mummy actually distracted me with a Barney bag and Barney plush toy was gone. Maybe, he went to look for BJ. Well, at least I got Mummy to buy me the Barney bag, cost only RM 39.90. Then, we headed to Giant Supermart to get some mineral water and headed back to hotel for a rest. We have been walking for almost 4hours n Mummy is really tired.

Mummy & myself took a nap and we headed to Portugese Settlement at 7pm. We had seafood dinner and it was really yummy. But this place is less happening than Jonker Street, so we left not long after dinner. I had my warm bath, watched my Barney VCDs and was off to dreamland....

Malacca - 1st day / 1st night

We are setting off to Malacca today but all of us woke up late. We only got up from bed at 9.30am and Daddy still have to go back office to settle some stuff, so by the time we set off, it was already 12pm. We headed to 2nd link at Tuas cos its known to be much straightaway for Daddy. (Its his maiden drive into Malaysia lah).

We passed into 2nd link at about 1.30pm cos Daddy went around Jurong West area to look for a petrol kiosk to top up his petrol. From 2nd link to Malacca, it is 204km away. Daddy says he expected us to reach into Malacca at about 4.30pm.

Thanks to Uncle Yongsheng, I have this red portable DVD player which keeps me occupied throughout the drive. I can watch my fav Barney VCDs, of course I wl be guai guai.



With the entertainment and a short nap, we finally reached into Century Makhota Hotel at 5pm. With 3 adults & 1 child, Mummy booked a 2-bedroom unit. Daddy, Mummy and me shared 1 room while GongGong has the other room to himself.



After unpacking and freshen up, we headed to Chinatown (Jonkers Street) for dinner and pasar malam. We found a Nonya Restaurant for dinner and went along Jonker Street for some light snack and shopping.

By the time, we head back to hotel, it was already 10pm. Another busy day tml and I am sound asleep at 12am.

Malacca Short Getaway

I am heading to Malacca with Daddy, Mummy and GongGong tomorrow for 3 days 2 nites....wl take lotsa pix n show you when I am back..

Father's Day Dinner

Paipai booked a table for Father's Day Dinner at Shaw Tower @ Orchard Road, at a restaurant called Kam Boat Chinese Restaurant. The food was really yummy. I tried lotsa food ~ fried ee-fu noodles, steamed fish, "shou-tou", peanuts and delicious mango sago dessert.



After I am done with my dinner, cousin Xavia and I went to see some of the fishes, prawns and lobsters .... kept in the tank.



After dinner, we all set home separately but Daddy says he want to check out the 50% discount Sushi & Sashimi at the Isetan Supermarket. So I took a basket and helped Daddy with his buyings...

I am watching Barney again!!

Daddy says he must get the Barney "Take-A-Photo" Pass for me after seeing how disappointed I was when I couldnt take pix with Barney on Wed. So we woke up early at 8am and managed to rush out of home by 9.15am. Once we reached into Plaza Singapura, Mummy went to queue at the Information Counter while Daddy rushed into Carrefour to get a $30 worth of item. He bought my diapers and 1 pack of 3 baby-wipes. The queue at Information Counter was moving really slow....Only at 10.45am, then we managed to get my pass. I got the 11th pass for the 1pm show. Only 20 passes per show. Thank you Daddy & Mummy for the effort. Then, we headed to Cafe Cartel for our breakfast.

After our breakfast (while waiting for Barney show to begin), I went to watch some of the jiejies from different school competing in a Netball Tournament (just outside the Plaza Singapura)



At 12noon, the queue to watch Barney show started forming near the stage. We quickly got ourselves into the queue too. Gabriel came not long after and we waited for the "gate" to be opened before zooming into the carpetted floor to sit. (Only 1 Daddy or Mummy allowed per child). So Uncle Ben & Gabriel and Daddy & me got a seat while Mummy, Aunty Kelly and Aunty Kelly's sis stand at the side.

At 1pm sharp, Barney came on stage. Once again, I was so shocked to see him that I did not follow the action of the 1st song "If you are happy". But soon later, I started shaking to the music and having fun. About 25mins later, the last song "I love you" was played and Barney, BJ and Baby Bop left. But becos I got the pass today, I was able to take a picture with all 3 of them and I even get to kiss Barney, BJ and gave Baby Bop a hug. I am so happy.

New Books & Toys

Daddy is sick today, so I didnt go GongGong's house in the morning. Erna jiejie bathed me and brought me down to Yiyi's house while Daddy & Mummy were still in bed. At 11pm, Daddy & Mummy finally came down and we headed to Compass Point for lunch and doctor.

Compass Point were having a mini Popular fair at the basement level and Mummy saw a lot of nice toys n books and bought these for me.... 3 jigsaw puzzles ($1.70 each), 1 Barney sticker book and 1 Barney colouring book ($5.90 each), 1 magnet book (has 20 magnets inside, $12.90) and 1 wooden jigsaw puzzle ($7.90). Want to come my house and play with me??

After lunch, Daddy fetched Mummy to work and we headed home for our beauty nap.

Barney "Mini Concert

Barney & Friends are in Plaza Singapura this week and Daddy brought me down to see them today. Its Daddy's early day from work, so we managed to reach PS by 6.10pm. (Mummy got to work, so she didnt come along).

At 7pm, Barney, BJ and Baby Bop arrived on the stage. But, I was so stunned looking at them real and live, that when they sing "If you are happy" song, I didnt follow the actions at all. But after that song, I was more comfortable and was swinging to the music while Daddy carried me.

After 30mins, the show ended and Daddy carried me away from the stage....he tot I wl be fine. Wrong!! When we returned back to the stage area again (to go for dinner), I see that there is no Barney on the stage. I started screaming and crying.......until I lost my voice. I was so sad that Barney & friends are no longer there. Daddy took a long while to pacify me before we headed for dinner and home. Daddy promised that he & Mummy will bring me to see him again on Sat. I am so looking forward to it.......

My New Laptop

My new laptop arrived today.....yipee!! And Daddy let me watch Barney CD in it while Daddy watched his other TV programs. With the new addition into the family, the old desktop wl be sold to Garung Guni......or who else wl take old but useable PCs huh. Anybody got clue?? With the money, I can buy more Barney CDs....hahaha. Oh yes, Mummy says with this new laptop, she will update my blog more regularly.

Its a MEIMEI

Mummy's apptmt with Dr Ang is at 10am. We woke up at 8.30am and was out of the house by 9.15am. As Mummy is a last-min patient, she was told to come in early at 10am. True enough, at 10am, when we were there, there was already a queue outside. A while later, a tall man arrived and open the door. It was Dr Lawrence Ang. And he told us to wait a while cos his nurse was not there yet. But just when we were waiting, we saw 2 middle-aged non-pregnant women walking towards the clinic. So Mummy went along and got herself registered. But, it was really chaotic in there. So many pregnant aunties with their hubbies. And worst, the computer system for registration was new and the nurse/receptionist was busy meddling with it and really took time to try and try.......So, Daddy says he will go and grab breakfast with me first and Mummy to keep him posted when it is her turn. After 4 patients, it was finally Mummy's turn. After talking to Dr Ang about Mummy's history, he got Mummy to lie down on the bed and he took a scanner kind of machine n roll it around Mummy's tummy. Then he said.....70% its a girl. Daddy hear liao, so happy.......kept doing Hi-5 with me. Then Dr Ang oso did a 4D scan of my meimei and Mummy says she looks a lot more like Daddy....we shall see. Meantime, we are all scratching head on the name for my meimei.....any suggestion. Start with "S".

PC Show 2006

Daddy & Mummy are "renovating" the studyroom to be my bedroom, before they can do that....they got to get rid of the study table and the desktop PC. Since PC show is ON at Suntec, Daddy & Mummy decided to head there to get a laptop, so they can trsfer all the necessary photos / data over before throwing away the rest of the stuff. The crowd was really crazy.....so many people everywhere. After a few rounds of walking to get the necessary brochures, we headed to Level 4 to look through while I roamed on the carpet flooring. Once Daddy decide on the laptop to get, we headed back to Level 6 but I was simply too tired liao. It was my nap time loh. So, Mummy craddle me at the entrance while Daddy went to make pymt. We managed to get a Dell laptop for $1499.

Macdonald Breakfast

Did I mention that I always love weekends? Cos Daddy and Mummy sure arranged to go some nice place for brunch. For today, we decided to head to Kovan Centre Macdonald for breakfast. Daddy says the pancakes there are nicer than Compass Pt and Rivervale Mall. Dun believe, you go and try. I had my 1.5 pancakes with a pack of apple juice while Daddy & Mummy each have big breakfast. Then we need to rush back cos Mummy was due for her checkup with Dr Chen. I didnt follow cos I wanted to go Yiyi's house to play. But Mummy says I will be able to know if I got a didi or meimei to play after today checkup.

But dun noe what happened, at 12.30pm, Mummy and Daddy returned back and says that they are going to change gynae cos Dr Chen has increased her price and increase a lot somemore. Heard Mummy called Aunty Kelly and managed to get a booking for her gynae on Mon. Looks like I got to wait till Monday to know if I will be a jiejie to meimei or didi.

My 5-1 (3rd booster)

Mummy scheduled me to see Dr Tay today for my booster jab as well as to check on my nappy rash. Erna jiejie came along too cos she was due for her 6 monthly medical checkup. We reached the clinic at 11am and Dr Tay applied for me a cold gel and I was to see him 40mins later for the jab. He took my weight and height and I am 81cm and 11.5kg. He checked on my nappy rash and gave me a stronger cream - Steroid to apply and says I shld be better in 2 days time. As for my on-off diarrhoea, I was given a nicer taste med.

Erna jiejie then went in with mummy and got her blood test taken and body checked. Then we went to Cold Storage to stroll before my turn to jab. After paying up and getting my med, we headed to Tampines Mall for lunch. Then we headed to GongGong's house while Ah Gong and Erna headed home via bus. And Daddy & Mummy stayed on to feed me med and apply cream for me before heading to work.

My painful Nappy Rash

I have been having mild diarrhoea for the past few days....but today, the soreness in my butt really makes me cry. It was so painful that I cried when I pee. When daddy and mummy checked on me, my front n back was all red. Mummy quickly washed me up and applied Desitin but it was still really painful, till I refused to sit on the floor. I noe Mummy really hurt seeing me like that but it was really painful. Daddy & Mummy wanted to bring me to Dr Leslie Tay but he was already closed. We then headed to Compass Point clinic but along the way, Mummy noticed that the clinic opp our block is still lighted, so we went there instead. But, it was Dr Chen CY's clinic that was opened, not the GP. But she gave me a free cream - Neo Cream to apply and says shld be better after that.The whole night, I was left bottomless and Mummy & Daddy sleep with me in the living room. But I still scared to pee, so I actually didnt pee the whole night until at 6am, I woke up crying cos I had just pee and it was still painful. Daddy & Mummy washed me up and applied another run of cream and we went off to sleep till 9am.
