The Day I Was Born

27 Oct - a Wednesday......Daddy & Mummy checked into Mt Alvernia Hospital at 1130pm and mummy was asked to go into Delivery Suite 3A. A staff nurse administered an induce tablet into mummy and told her to try to sleep. But there was a lot of noise and screaming from other aunties at other rooms and mummy got disturbed....At 6am, Dr Chen CY came to see if mummy is dilated but it was only 2cm, so Dr Chen administered another round of induce tablet into mummy. At 12pm, Dr Chen came again and break the waterbag. And another doctor came to administered the epidural too....and it was less painful for mummy but she was shaking very badly. At 5pm, mummy started feeling the aching pain and it was REAL BAD cos mummy squeezed daddy's hand so hard that it almost left daddy's bruise.....At 6pm, mummy felt that I was moving downwards n downwards and asked the nurse to check on the dilation and mummy was 9cm DILATED......Dr Chen came thereafter and prepared for my arrival.And after the help of forceps and a big PUSH, I was borned on

28 October 2004, at 1852hrs, weighing 2.72kg and 49cm....
